"The hotel is lovely. The room with the Mt.Fuji view was big with a couch & chair from which we could view the mountain to our heart’s content. The shower/bath was large and comfortable. The beds were firm. The room was clean. The staff was accommodating. Fuji-Q amusement park is next door, but there was no noticeable noise in the hotel. 7-11 is on property. There are multiple options available for food. Our only complaint is that the transportation options from the rail station were not explained anywhere on the website, and we finally had to opt for a taxi (which was still difficult to get). There was actually a shuttle bus running for easy access, but we had no way to know that. I would recommend this hotel. "

"This property is beautiful and very relaxing. The private onsen on the balcony was a dream. It’s so lush in the surrounding areas. It was amazing just to soak in the hot springs bath in the quiet of the outdoors. We were a little concerned because of the reviews. There is nothing to be concerned about if you understand what you’re getting. It’s a quiet resort with not much close by. There is a Family Mart if you aren’t eating at the restaurant but that’s it. We explored Hakone for the day and took the bus to a stop right in front of the hotel. We didn’t use the shuttle from Gore Station. If you have lots of luggage, you might want to taxi. We did the kaseiki meal. We had hoped it would be in the room, as we thought was traditional, but it was in the restaurant. The food wasn’t our favorite but the service was nice. We’re very glad we went as a day trip/single overnight from Tokyo. "

"This was perfect for traveling with kids. The room was large, there was a public and private bath. Staff were great with my toddler and there are kids areas and free snacks for them, while it's also in walking distance to other things in Gora. I would stay again. "

"Very good ryokan resort. Nice staff. Everything was ready when we checked in. We stayed in traditional Japanese room with the view of lake Kawaguchico. Japanese set meals for dinner and breakfast were amazing. We had a good time there!"
