“Staff were pleasant and helpful at our 10pm arrival. Room was spacious and clean. A cot was delivered within minutes of request. Breakfast had a decent assortment of choices and coffee was fresh. Well done Hampton Inn as usual. ”
“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”
“When you walk in the place, it is a warm cozy atmosphere. A large container of hot, delicous soup awaits you, along with lemmonade, coffee and ice cream. The place is very clean, very close to Route 95 and Orono/Bangor. You knew you were in Maine when you checked into this place. Wondeful find”
“Nice to park outside my room and carry my luggage in. Room was clean. Not a 5 star hotel but you’re not paying 5 star prices. Front desk attendants were very polite and helpful.
Action item for management:
Management needs to update Expedia and any others sites the rooms are marketed on. The booking confirmation says front desk unattended after 7pm but when I spoke with the attendants they confirmed the desk is attended 24/7. If I had seen the incorrect information I may not have booked and……
