The staff was very friendly and did a great job of being helpful. The room immaculate and had everything we needed it looked like all had been renovated. The location is a short walk 5 minutes from the Dunmuir train station

The room itself was lovely. That is the only good thing that I can say about this place. It was so noisy from both the street traffic and the train whistle (which happened just about every hour all night long) that we couldn’t sleep. The large screen TV only had Netflix and Hulu available and impossible to figure out. There is nothing charming in this town, I would not go back.

Great hotel! We wanted an upscale boutique stay along I-5 in Northern California and the Mossbrae was a jackpot. Cute little town with restaurants, a microbrewery, and if you are lucky (like we were), live music. Its a beautiful spot and is 15 degrees cooler than Redding or Medford OR

This is a very unique and wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed showing up and not having to wait to check in. We arrived later than our check-in and walked straight to our room. The room was very nice. Felt upscale, vintage and comfortable without losing all the history and charm of the building. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Very clean and very comfortable hotel. We stayed in Room 1, which was extremely spacious and is actually a suite of rooms. Loved that the small kitchen area had everything we needed, including all of the amenities for pour-over or French press coffee. The bathroom and shower facilities were lovely and in keeping with a luxury boutique. This is a wonderful location for exploring Mt. Shasta and Lake Siskiyou.

The Hotel and our room was high end classy but yet very comfortable and homey at the same time. The bathrooms were amazing!! They had all the amenities of home down to having Q-tips in the bathroom. The heated bathroom floors were so nice when getting out of the shower. Rachel was a wonderful host and was more than helpful when letting us know of places to eat and places to sight see. Her store in the lobby was very nice and quaint with all local vendors products. If we are ever in the Shasta area again we will be staying here!

This is a beautifully restored property, done in an early 20th-century style, that made us feel like the developers understood what weary travelers need to feel cared for. In addition to the plush, firm but well-padded king-sized bed with an abundance of pillows, the suite featured a kitchenette with high-quality dishware, sink, and microwave; a living room with loveseat, desk, and TV; an additional alcove with a sofabed; multiple closets; and (best of all) a luxurious bathroom with two sinks, adequate shelving, a padded bench, high quality shower over tub (with hinged glass door), and separate water closet. The decorative touches completed the experience, including a period chandelier over the bed.
