The cabin was extremely clean with ample space for everyone. The location on the river was fantastic and the area featured many opportunities to hike along with other outdoor activities. Already thinking about when we might want to go back!

The property is amazing! Well stocked and just beautiful! This may have been one of my most relaxing vacations!! Between the peace and quiet, the river rushing by and the amazing amount of stars in the sky at night from the backyard we couldn't imagine a better place to spend our 21st wedding anniversary! We absolutely loved it, and would definitely recommend!

Labor Day get away

Overall we had a great vacation, there were just a few minor hiccups with our stay but nothing that hindered our vacation. Communication with the owner was seamless from the time we booked our stay to the time we checked out. The property is beautiful and nothing beats the sound of the river flowing. Would definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to mountain!

Lovely River Retreat

We had a great time in this beautiful setting! The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the screen porch! The basement was perfect for game night and a movie night when it rained. We made good use of the kayaks at nearby Chute Pond.

Quite solitude

Our late fall visit was a great base for exploring the hiking, waterfalls, and food in the area. Home was well furnished with everything to make breakfast before starting our day and relax in the evening. Covered porch was great in the afternoon with a blanket and a book to listen to the rippling river. This home would be enjoyable in all seasons.

Amazing house with more than enough room for our group of 6. Very clean, and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked. The scenery, and sound of the river from the screened in porch, and backyard was very relaxing. Very peaceful area. The location was very close to many fishing spots. Was a great time had by all.

Home was gorgeous. New and nice. Screened in porch facing river was amazing. Owners were helpful with all questions. Just know that ATV and all trails are closed 10/31 thru 3/30. Which wasn't ideal as not much to do in the area! Otherwise perfect!

Cozy cabin high quality amenities

There were three couples on our trip and it was exactly what we were looking for. There was fresh wood pre-chopped so we fed the indoor fireplace all day- a dream! High quality kitchen amenities, comfortable furniture, and very clean space. Super impressed! Very responsive host who was accommodating for our needs. Would definitely come back - 10/10!

Great house!

We had 4 adults that rented this house. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. The upstairs furniture was not very comfortable but the downstairs sofas were nice. The river was gorgeous. We would definitely go back.

Perfect weekend get away

We stayed for a sibling weekend with my 3 siblings and 2 of our partners. It was perfect! Evey lounging space in the cabin was ideal for gathering and spending quality time together. The porch and backyard space was so relaxing, we spent most of our time just sitting outside listening to the sounds of the river. My now fiance actually proposed to me on the dock in the backyard and it was an absolutely perfect background for that special moment! The hosts are very friendly and responsive. It was the best weekend ever!! 10/10

If you want a mental reset this is it! Zoning out and staring at the river for hours and just being outside or on the porch was perfect. We never turned on the tv and if we were up and home we were on the porch. Property was clean, had everything we needed and in great condition. Easy to access, well lit, and clear instructions. Very clean, except for dog hair on patio. Well appointed and comfortable. Lovely clear running river right alongside the property. Kids loved to play there. Weather was a little damp for a log fire but we did go ATV trekking which was exciting in places, lots of places to eat and of course there is the 100ft fire watch station...really cool
