“The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. ”

“Pedney Shepherd's Hut is located about 50 yards off the A30, around 6 minutes drive from the centre of Newlyn. It is set back from the road up a few steep steps which led into s semi-tropical small garden. Occasionally some traffic noise can be heard, but it didn't disturb me and I'm quite sensitive to traffic noise. The fixture and fittings at Pedney are first class. Is everything brand new? It looks it. In particular, I loved the shower - hot and cold water immediately available and at a high……

“The location of this property was nice, we loved the hot tub and the open space around the hut. The Star pub down the road was great and the Spar supermarket was handy. Unfortunately there were several things that detracted from this stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring through the mattress- we even tried flipping the mattress to see if this helped (it didn't help, and revealed a stain). In the end I slept on top of a couple of thick fleece jumpers so I couldn't……

“A lovely lodge in a great location. The wine, biscuits and milk welcome pack is a very nice touch. It is very comfortable and well equipped, although the shower door was difficult to use. It is in a very quiet and peaceful setting but within an easy drive of either Penzance or St Ives for those shopping essentials or going to the beach.”

“What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb. Lovely trail walk to the coastal trail but secluded enough that it’s quiet and private. There’s a trail across the fields to get to a great little pub with excellent food. “The cottage is in a fabulous cobbler street location, 2 minute walk to the harbour. The cottage is well equipped if you wanted to cook, we ate out because there are lots of lovely places to eat. The cottage was lovely and clean, great powerful shower. The host Victoria had left us milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and tea towels. We had great communication from Victoria, any questions were responded really quickly. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return. Thank you so……

“What a wonderful stay we had at Walter. The house is very well maintained with lots of thoughtful little extras and decorations. Communication with the property owners worked like a charm, key was on site with a code sent to us for opening the box directly at the front door. We would love to come back, enjoyed our time at this fantastic little cottage.”
