The Georgian Military Highway crosses the Greater Caucasus Mountains at Jvari Pass (2,379m), near the ski resort of Gudauri. Located only a few hours north of Tbilisi, a road trip here can be done in a day, but more time should be given so that some of the side valleys and mountains in this region can be explored on foot or by car. #lifeatexpedia #roadtrip #mountains #georgia
