“We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary……

“There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I……

“We were a family of 4 visiting friends in Mulranny. Curragh Hill is a beautiful home. Beautiful linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable. Stunning views from the lounge where we saw dolphins on our last evening. Weather was kind enough to use the sun loungers and use the patio set. We met Bella and she was very helpful.Would stay again and would recommend ”

“There was no hand/body soap, no toilet/paper towels, no dish detergent. Towels provided were very shabby with holes. The entire place was pretty shabby. The views however were spectacular. For the amount of money we spent staying here you would think at least soap would be provided. Would never recommend staying here.”

“This house has been beautifully restored and is clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for exploring Westport and if perfect for a family. The hosts were very nice and provided all the essentials. I would highly recommend this property.”

“We had a very nice time even though the location was not quite as convenient to amenities as expected. The only negative was the cottage was cool in the evening and overnight. We mentioned this but owner said there were extra blankets, however we couldn’t see how that helped unless we were in bed. We also did not like the fact that all the furniture was shrouded in covers.”
