Everything about this hotel is perfection. From the stunning room decor and public rooms to the delicious food, I can’t think of a single criticism. I stayed at the nearby Leela hotel earlier in the week and thought it was outstanding but the Fairmont managed to surpass it.

We stayed here one night on arrival in India and our last night before flying home. The hotel is stunningly beautiful. The rooms are immaculate and every little thing seems to have been thought of, such as curtains that close when you leave the room and small lights that come on when you go in the bathroom and a walk in wardrobe. The staff are absolutely amazing and seem to genuinely want you to have the best possible stay that you can. The breakfast buffet and dinner were one of the best that I have ever been to. The staff were amazing and were always asking if there was anything that they could do for us. I went to the spa, which was again stunning. I had a 2 hour massage which was about £100, so expensive for India, but would have been 3 or 4 times as much in a comparable hotel in England. My only complaint was the room was very cold and when I said this as the start the therapist said she would turn the AC off. Only I had checked the temperature when she went out the room and the AC was already off. So I was unable to fully relax as was not warm enough. The pool area is lovely. There is a lovely cafe on the ground floor with great cakes and again great service. The hotel is right next to the airport, but is probably a 10 minute walk. But the hotel picks you up and drops you off. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, mainly due to the amazing staff. We will definitely return.

Nice airport hotel with spacious rooms, nice gold lounge and excellent staff. Only drawbacks are lack of high tea in gold lounge and no dressing rooms for the pool area. Good value for money though. Would highly recommend.

I recently had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Mumbai and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, the overall ambience was excellent, and the staff made the stay feel special. It’s a great property and I would be happy to stay here again. One small area for improvement would be managing access to the lobby during VIP visits. During my stay, there were quite a few non-hotel patrons gathered in the lobby for a VIP visit, which made the area feel unusually crowded and somewhat disrupted the otherwise calm and premium atmosphere. It may be worth considering restricting access to hotel guests during such occasions, or alternatively providing hotel patrons with preferential access and a more seamless experience. Also honourable mention to the servers at the in-house “the merchant “ restaurant whose servers were very attentive and accommodating. Overall, though, I had a very positive experience and would certainly recommend Fairmont Mumbai for its hospitality, ambience, and service.
