「We booked through Expedia a two bedroom boat house on the canal. I expected to be able to stand in the bedroom. The so called second bedroom waa in the floor, you lift the floor and go down about 4 stairs and have to climb into a couple bucks. This was not what was advertised. We asked to get our money back as this was not acceptable for 2 70 year olds. My Grandson and his girl where traveling with us, he's 6'2' and truly couldn't fit that space either. Getting to the place was also a...

「The pictures of the houseboat in the ad were accurate - it is very nice and immaculately clean. The landlord is nice and very helpful and responded very quickly to our every question/concern. It also is in a very nice location - we were very happy we spent the extra money to stay in the canal district ON a canal - another thing off my bucket list!」

「Clean and convenient…」

「Great overall experience. It is situated in a calm area but close to all you could want to do as a tourist. We walked everywhere. Sitting on the deck for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening is great - you get see the boats and also the cute ducks. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Very clean and all we needed was provided. A little tricky to get on and off with luggage but on arrival we did get help. Something to consider if you have mobility issues.」

「A very unique and accommodating experience. The hosts were wonderful and the location was quite scenic. The unit itself was as advertised and very tastefully done. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in Amsterdam.」
