“The houseboat is central to everything. It absolutely was the best! The host is stellar. The houseboat was so so comfortable. All amenities have been thought thorough so nothing, absolutely nothing was missing. Beds, bedding super. Can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s the only place you should be staying in Amsterdam. Thanks for a memorable vacation. Best money we have ever spent ”

“The house boat is a floating oasis of quiet and comfort in a very busy city. Very private. Every day, after exploring the beauty of Amsterdam we would return to our boat and relax with the canal to entertain us - birds, boats, jumping fish. The place was well equipped and very comfortable, warm and relaxing, great bed and nice linens, hot shower. The outdoor patio was a bonus. We loved it. Highly recommend!”

“Der Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot war spektakulär. Ein wirklich liebevoll und modern eingerichtetes Hausboot mit Liebe zum Detail. Es fehlt wirklich Nichts. Rohan hat uns empfangen und uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt. Toll ist die Sauna auf dem Boot. Es ist überhaupt nicht kalt, wir waren im Dezember dort. Es werden alle Wünsche erfüllt, wenn man sie vorher anfragt. Albert ist ebenfalls ein warmherziger Mensch, der uns lieb begrüßt hat. Das Hausboot liegt perfekt zur City und vom Centraal……

“There were many safety concerns that came with this property and host. Firstly, there was a propane tank with an open flame in this property that was touching both beds and sitting on a shag carpet. Instructions on how to operate this were barely given as the whole check in process was incredibly rushed. Additionally there was a hot plate and coffee machine haphazardly placed at this property. This boat is extremely small and having that many fire hazards, made us feel incredibly uneasy,……

“Our family of four had a wonderful stay in Mathys houseboat! The views at night of the romantic skinny bridge alit were gorgeous and the glimpse of other boats cruising by the open portholes of the boat made you feel like you were in the midst of it all. A comfortable walk to the Van Gogh Museum and The Anne Frank House as well as great restaurants. We walk away with great memories of our experience here.”

“This was an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. It was super fun to stay on a houseboat, and this is a particularly nice houseboat.
