「Het hotel heeft een hele mooie ligging direct aan de fietsroute (knooppunt 56) . We hadden een super mooie kamer met balkon en uitzicht op de Rhein. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt. Het restaurant was op maandag en dinsdag gesloten, dus hierover kunnen we niet oordelen De omgeving is prachtig om met de fiets te verkennen. Ons verblijf was helaas in de hitte periode (code rood), maar we komen beslist hier terug met minder warm weer.」

「The property is beautiful and although the building is old, the rooms were updated with modern finishes. We used the amenities, including the pool. We rented e-bikes, and it was convenient, if a little expensive. Staff were very helpful, including providing advice on local bike routes. We had breakfast one morning in the dining room. Unfortunately, it was a very busy day, and some food was not available as it was quickly taken by the many other guests that morning. The bar/lounge in the lobby...

「The surroundings are maybe not what you expect from an idyllic establishment, nevertheless our stay was more than pleasant and we did feel very welcome. The hotel is near Kaldenkirchen’s train station and the usual grocery stores, the city’s centre is on walking distance. The amenities were more than you’ll expect from a two star hotel, free drinks including beer, coffee and soda’s. We stayed here on transit to the Ruhrgebied, and experienced plenty of room for us and our bicycles.」

「Ein gutes, solides 3-Sterne-Hotel. Ich hatte ein Zimmer in dem Gebäude auf der anderen Straßenseite, im 2. Stock, nach vorne. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage und es war sehr warm, also habe ich das Fenster geöffnet, somit den Straßen“Lärm“ natürlich gehört. Mir persönlich macht so etwas nichts… das Zimmer war groß und mit allem ausgestattet inklusive Shampoo, Spülung, Bodylotion, Kaffee, Wasser, Tee… Das Frühstück war für den Preis okay! Highlight natürlich der Frosch gepresste Orangensaft....
