“Two things bring the otherwise good review down. The information given at the lodge and the map of the park provided was NOT ACCURATE causing us to drive completely down a path that was no longer in use and we almost got stuck. This even though we specifically asked if the map was up to date having been sold an inaccurate map in Nakuru before. Searching for the way to Wandare gate from the Ark cost us more than 2 hours. “Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more……

“The property is older but clean and well maintained. There are several different restaurants on site but they all use the same menu.
