What can you do while staying at The Bungalow on Tellico?

🎣 Access the little Missouri River right across the street at River Ridge Public Access…trout fish or swim when the river isn’t generating, kayak when it’s rolling! The neighborhood is a great place to take a morning walk. There is a short paved walkway down by the river as well!

🚤You are only 2.2 miles away from SWAHA Marina where you can rent a boat and play on beautiful Lake Greeson or call up Action Fishing Trips for a fab day fishing for crappie.

💎The Crater of Diamonds State Park is a mere 8 miles away! Did you know it’s one of the only places in the world where the public can search for real diamonds in their original volcanic source? Any rock or mineral you find is yours to keep!

🛟A mere 29 miles north is Glenwood, where you can spend the day floating the Caddo River.

🛶 Caddo Gap is only 36 miles north, where you can spend the day in the forested splendor of the rugged Ouachita Mountains. Hike the nature trails or experience the excitement of a canoe trip on the Little Missouri River.

Or simply come for some R&R. You’ll find an inviting front porch with rocking chairs and a swing, a covered back patio with a dining table, sitting area and big screen TV. Enjoy cooking on the Blackstone grill, play a few rounds of corn hole or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. You are likely to see a few 🦌 deer grazing on acorns or grass. Head inside to rest and relax on the comfy leather couch, cook up a delish meal in the modern kitchen or nap in one of the comfy beds. The kids will have fun in the bunk room, with a tv, games and a little ”nook” to call their own.

Note: Pike County is a dry county. You won't find bars or liquor stores here. What you will find is a peaceful hidden gem of a small Arkansas town. All the wine lovers, never fear. Simply BYOB and leave the stemware and bottle opener to us. We have you covered beer drinkers...there is a basket of koozies waiting for you to use. The Bungalow has the glasses and bar tools taken care of.

This was our second stay here. It’s such a beautiful spot. We thoroughly enjoyed getting away and having some quiet time. My only complaint is that we ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy some. Other than that very small thing, everything was perfect!

Stop searching—this is the place to stay!!! The amenities exceeded all expectations, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The entire property was spotless and beautifully maintained. It’s only about a 12 to 15-minute drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park—though I hope you have better luck finding diamonds than we did! This may very well become my go-to spot for future trips.

We were so excited this rental was available for our dates!! Check in was easy-key pad entry. It was a great location for us as we were floating the Caddo River. The bunk room was great for the children. The master bedrooms were beautiful & very comfortable!!! We loved our stay!

Tucked away Gem!

My family and I ventured to Arkansas to try our luck digging for diamonds and crystals. We will definitely bookThe Bungalow again, it has everything you will need during your stay. We even saw deer and fireflies when sitting outside. Self check in/check out was a breeze! The house is very clean and smells brand new. Sofas, beds and chairs were all comfortable. Water pressure and hot water was always perfect! They provide strong Wi-Fi which is great because no phone service. The owners are quick to respond when messaged. You can tell they take pride in their rental and it shows with all the attention to detail. Can't wait to go back!

Clean and Nicely Decorated

Cleanliness is our top priority! This house passed our inspection!!!! Very peaceful and as advertised. It is very close to Crater of the Diamonds and a little over an hour to Hot Springs. We didn’t eat at any of the local restaurants. In Hot Springs, we ate at Rocky’s Corner and would definitely recommend for pizza and pasta. The only small challenge at the house were the beautiful, vessel sinks being on the tall vanities. It made washing your face and brushing your teeth a tad challenging. Thanks for advertising your property accurately! It’s a beautiful home, with everything you need.

This is a new property in a nice area with other new homes in neighborhood. The home was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was very close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Everything you need is there at the house. If you need firewood you will have to buy it in town. Keep in mind there isn’t much in Murfreesboro, which we did our research so we had plenty of food with us. So having this great home to enjoy makes up for it. My only concern was the smell of gas from the gas appliances. But it didn’t really bother anyone in our group.

Spring Break Getaway

We came for a quick Spring Break getaway to visit Crater of Diamonds. This stunning cabin located in a very peaceful location was perfect for our family. The cabin was very clean, well equipped with everything you could need, and great internet. The patio and fire pit offered great relaxation in the evening. We LOVED this cabin and would definitely come back!

Warm and Inviting

The house had everything we needed. It was clean, the beds were the most comfortable we had slept on in a Vrbo, the kids loved the games, and we spent most of our time outside around the fire pit. It was perfect for our trip to the diamond mine and we also enjoyed our walk to the river to fish and explore, which was just down the road from where we were staying.

Outstanding bungalow!

We have rented many private homes in the past, and although this cabin was the smallest and most out-of-the-way, it was probably our best private rental experience so far. I wholeheartedly recommend it, and would not hesitate to go back. First and foremost, it was CLEAN. I don't mean "clean enough," I mean it was cleaner than any home and most high-end hotels I've ever occupied. We were highly impressed. Also, the area is VERY quiet -- we hardly ever saw another car or person. There is another cabin under construction next door, maybe 75 yards away, but no workers were on-site during our stay so there was no noise or anything like that. Our young kids loved the "game room" off of the bunk room and they also loved sleeping in the bunk beds. My wife was amused by the highly-branded decor, even down to custom "Bungalow" coffee mugs. (I preferred the very random assortment of beer can koozies, and regretted that I did not have one from my ranch or business with me to leave in the collection.) The appliances and finishes are very nice -- far ahead of what you find in most rented properties. It was too rainy to use the fire pit outside, but the large front porch was a nice place to sit during the rain. Internet service was very reliable and fast enough for e-mail purposes -- we didn't do any work and we are not gamers, but it was nice to be "a bit online" while we were away. The Bungalow is outstanding in every way -- reserve it and enjoy it!

Beautiful Family Friendly House in the Woods!

This property is everything we were hoping for and more! Perfect location to all of the tourist locations and close to the lake. The house is beautiful with a wonderful layout for guests of all ages, the kids loved making s’mores in the fire pit every night and playing games. Fully stocked kitchen so all you need to bring is the food! Highly recommend if you’re planning on visiting this area.
