"We had a great stay at Shibuya Stream in April 2026 and felt that it was a very centrally located home base for our first time in Tokyo. The room was larger than we expected given the standards for small hotel rooms in Tokyo (which included a great view of Tokyo Tower), and the hotel’s location provided for extremely convenient access to the JR Yamanote subway line and easy pedestrian access to Shibuya Crossing and the main shopping areas in Shibuya. As a result of easy subway access, neighborhoods like Shinjuku and Harajuku were very easy to access by a quick train ride. If you didn’t feel like walking car, there were dozens of restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel including a large number in the same complex (called Shibuya Stream) as the hotel. Hotel staff were also very helpful assisting us with luggage forwarding for our next hotel on our trip. We had debated a few hotel options in Shibuya/Shinjuku before this trip, and after our stay here we were very glad we picked this hotel over the others we were considering. I highly recommended this hotel. "

"This hotel is for those who want to get full immersion in young Tokyo area. Where there are lots of Jazz Kissa places, music shops, record stores. So if you like vibes and tribes this is the place to be. The rooms are clean and freshly renewed, I think they renew the furnishing of the rooms in 2024. If you need to do your loundry you have place at 2nd floor to do it with just coins. And breakfast area is nice."

"Staff were extremely helpful. Only 1 English teabag in the room which we had to share. Room was wonderful apart from that. Restaurant downstairs very reasonably priced."

"No heater, couldn’t use the ac control to make room warmer. Breakfast was ok but need more variety on eggs ( like hard boiled eggs ). Staff were very helpful."

"Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and a decent size. The AC unit was powerful but blew directly over the bed which I am not a fan of. The feel of the hotel is a bit ‘tired’. Good location to travel around Shibuya on foot. "
