“Clean room and friendly restaurant and housekeeping staff. The property is tired and needs attention. Overall OK but would not be rushing back.”

“The stuff were lovely. The breakfast was amazing. It is a beautiful place but definitely need some upkeep work done to it. More than five tiles in the swimming pool. Broken one of us cut their toes on them because they’re sharp. Wooden planks around some of the trees have been warped on the deck and popped out of place not pleasant to look at and are trip hazards. We had a lovely time and I wouldn’t discount that I would recommend this place but it definitely needs some work.”

“The staff very friendly and polite. The beach was beautiful. The rooms were positioned to maximize privacy. A lovely place.”

“Very nice and personal place to stay. The team is very friendly and helpful. They nicely advised for snorkling, ferry return and different activities. They take care booking the scooter which was delivered to the hotel directly. Will be back some day”

“The property was really nice and quiet, a block back from dream beach you hear the waves. The rooms are older but nice.”

“What a wonderful stay! Staff are extremely friendly. Such a peaceful setting right on dream beach and a 5 minute walk to devils tears. For everything else, it’s alittle out the way if you can’t drive a scooter like me, but the staff were really helpful in arranging taxis which were always quick to arrive. There’s also ebike rental across the island which is a good option for none drivers too! Breakfast here was included, which was simple, fresh and a welcome start to the day. Pool was kept very……

“The pool was absolutely beautiful right next to the ocean. Our room was perfect. The bathroom was great. The location of this hotel was nice, slightly out of the busy area of Lembongan.”

“It's near to the Mushroom Bay, but it would be a tough walk if you have to drag your luggage instead of backpacking because of the sandy road. Otherwise, it's just 5-10 mins walk from Mushroom Bay to the resort. They upgraded us to the hut facing the bay, which was a nice surprise.”

“Thanks for letting us check in early after travelling We enjoyed the pool and the nature and chickens”

“First: We didn't stay at the Royal Cottage, instead we were moved to: The Royal Retreat Villas. So this feedback may be a bit misleading for this hotel! We were supposed to stay at a Royal Cottage where there was no staff to check us in when we arrived. We waited for about an hour before they arrived and told us we would be staying at their other location (Royal Retreat Villas) - (during that time, we had tried contacting them both via WhatsApp and through Hotels.com). It felt both unsafe and……
