"We very much enjoyed our 1 week vacation with the breath-taking views. We got to enjoy hummingbirds daily, seals playing in the ocean, eagles cruising past the deck, a sailboat regatta, numerous cruise boats, bunnies in the yard, and deers in the neighborhood. Owner was very responsive of a couple issues we had during our stay; smoke detectors beeping and no tv for a day. They were kind enough to issue us a gift card for lunch- 2 days before we left, but unfortunately we were unable to use it. It was a very nice gesture anyway. If I could make a couple suggestions it would be:providing a bench for the shower. House has a wonderful wheelchair ramp, which was extremely helpful since we were traveling with our adult special-needs daughter that uses a wheelchair. Showering her was a challenge without a bench, though. Also, have the house keeper to check supplies. We ran out of soap for one of the bathrooms, garbage bags and paper towels. The house was extremely well stocked otherwise. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. Lots of grass for our dogs to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay, and my daughter stated before we left.... "I'm going to miss this"."

"The home has an expansive deck and the view is stunning. The house itself is dated and has many different areas separated by doors or walls. Only 3 private bedrooms, which is not a lot for a 5000 sq ft home. Need a car to get to any amenities. Walking for exercise is on street with no sidewalk. Managed by Vacasa. No actionable response to concerns. Just lip service. Cleaning was minimal and even bedding and towels were not clean. Quite substandard. No help from Vacasa except “we will contact local person”, which was not done. They just wanted me to take pictures- which I took several- and still only “we will add to your case”. Would not stay again due to property management, not necessarily the place. "

"Wonderful location, quiet and relatively secluded from the crowds of Double Bluff Beach Park. Home was clean, well equipped and met the needs of our family perfectly. Our dog absolutely loved his off-leash beach time!"

"We give Vacasa 5 stars for their quick and courteous responses to our questions during our arrival (needed accurate instructions for signing on to the internet & guidance on thermostat use). It would be helpful to have written instructions on how to use the thermostat and Vacasa said they would update the instructions for the accurate Network to sign on to. Yay! The home was very clean, however, it had a horrible smoker smell - the type that is not just left by a prior renter, but must be in the walls/floors/drapes? Every time we walked in the door from outside, it would hit us and make us gag. After being in the house for a while, we no longer noticed it. It's too bad because you can tell the cleaning company put good effort in to cleaning, but the smell overrides the experience. As it is now, we would never rent it again. Thanks for listening. "
