Our stay at Mykonos Essence Hotel was wonderful! The staff were super friendly, the pool was great, and it’s just a 6-minute walk to Ornos Beach (a bit of a workout coming back uphill, but we didn’t mind!). Only downside — the lights on the A/C unit are really bright at night, so bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper. Aside from that, a great hotel and stay overall!

Loved being able to walk to the beach, you do have to go up a big hill and my partner and myself are young athletic people so keep this in mind if that’s why you choose this location! Close walk to grocery store. The room was very clean and comfortable! Staff was very kind and helpful and provide beach towels and pool towels! Would recommend!

Rooms a bit spartan, but clean, no chest of drawers or tea making facilities, power only one side of bed. Breakfast not that great, and we only ate there in the evening once, but nice pool area and great location for Ornos beach - which was wonderful. Had a great holiday overall.

Great Location!

This was the first stop on our Greece trip and it was a great first stop! Reception was so friendly and always provided great local insight. It was also awesome that they provided towels for us.The hotel restaurant and breakfast were so tasty! We last minute wanted to do an ATV for a day and reception called several different places and found us an available one! This hotel was in a great location close to Ornos beach!

The rooms are nice but they have a tiny tv. The hotel is situated at top of a hill and to get down to local bus stop or market you have to be ware cause super damgerous. On expedia it says its 5 mn drive to Old town which is not the case. It takes minimum of 15 mn drive and over 49 with bus due to its many stops. At the bottom of the hill , you have Ornos beach which is very pretty with several reastaurants. Overall i thought it was overpriced for its location and what it offered. Their breakfast was decent.

Nos hospedamos durante 6 noches en Mykonos Essence Hotel: * Ubicación: Magnífica, puedes bajar a pie desde el Hotel a la playa de Ornos, que para mí es de las mejores de la isla. Además en la playa esta la parada de bus hacia Fábrika con muy buena combinación. La subida de la playa al Hotel a pie ya se hace mas costosa pero nada preocupante. * Habitación: Nosotros estuvimos en una con vistas a la piscina y al mar. Magníficas vistas y estar en la terraza es muy agradable. La habitación es es de tamaño normal, lo suficiente para moverte alrededor de la cama. El baño no es espacioso pero es cómodo y la ducha también cómoda. La cama es grande y muy cómoda para mi gusto. * Desayuno: Completo, buena presentación. Para mi gusto no me faltaba de nada y muy bueno. * Personal: Creo que es el punto fuerte del Hotel. Todo el personal es excelente, desde recepción, camareros, personal de limpieza... Muy amables y serviciales, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudarte. Son magníficos! En general ha sido una muy buena experiencia en Mykonos Essence y volveré, sin duda!

We were quite disappointed with our stay in Mykonos Essence. The room we were in was dark and facilities in the room were sparse E.g. no kettle or coffee making facilities. There was a half eaten ice cream tub in our freezer compartment from a previous guest. Cleaning was not up to scratch. The pool area looks over the car park so the view is not great.
