No staff on site! We booked through Expedia and were not told that no one would be here to check us in! We called the number and still no reply at anytime or number. I got the message after checking the fine print AFTER I already paid! It did. It mention any of this through the Expedia website! Check it yourself! At least tell the guests before they pay that if they are arriving late that you will not be on staff to check them in. We had to book another hotel this evening and here it is past 1am and our baby is still waiting on a bed to sleep in while we wait in the lobby! Poor, poor service!!

I love the ocean view balconies. The rooms are clean and spacious. The area is away from the boardwalk and very quiet. You would need a vehicle to get to dining and shopping.

We stayed for one night. A quick getaway from Charlotte. We paid $209 for the room, which is too much, but it’s Spring Break, so it is what is is. The location is very charming. Really doesn’t even feel like you are in Myrtle Beach - which I consider a huge plus. The view is just stunning. Just wide unaltered ocean views. Although the hotel is across the street from the beach, the walk to the water is actually closer than some places on the beach. The hotel itself is clearly old, but has been rather nicely renovated. The exterior could still use some love, t compared to many older MB properties, it’s nice. The room itself was pretty okay. It clearly had been renovated in the somewhat recent past. The key is that I’m not sure it’s being maintained maybe as well as the photos show. Properties in MB (esp on the low end of the price spectrum) are used hard. The room had some missing tile trim, the chair upholstery has some stains, etc. With that said, the shower was perfect and had awesome water pressure. The beds were comfy and the sheets smelled clean. The staff we encountered were all very nice and this feels like a locally owned property that someone actually cares about so I liked that. I think for a very short stay this place works. I would not think this would be a long term stay for me.

We were here off season and I liked how quiet this area of the beach was off the main drag. We just had one night and everything was fine. Front desk staff were both very friendly and kind.

Great little place. It’s a mile or two north of the busy section of Ocean Blvd; that may not be what you’re looking for if you brought a bunch of Mardi Gras beads, but if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, this is it.

Was booked on 6th floor which was good However the room next door was booked with party animals in room 610 Therefore I listened to loud music till 3:20AM on Saturday morning. Seems in off season staff would have booked an empty room between guest. Needless to say will not stay here again.

Staff was very friendly from the first meeting and throughout. We stayed during the off-season, so it was very quiet, and very good price. The rooms were very clean and fresh and included a fridge/freezer stand up combo, microwave, Kuerig (bring pods), plates, cups, bowls, utensils, big bowl, juice pitcher, and a toaster. The beds were so comfortable. There was no tub, but there was a very nice walk-in shower. The lobby area was small, but very quaint. The pool was clean. The only flaws I experienced, not enough light in the bathroom, and the dreaded single-ply toilet paper. Not much to complain about!! I'm sure the prices go up in peak season. Also, all oceanfront rooms overlook the pool, so I imagine not as quiet in summer as it was in February! The beach is actually across the road, but there is nothing to hinder view of the ocean from the beachfront rooms!

Long Weekend in Myrtle Beach
Long weekend in Myrtle Beach...check-in was pleasant, nice room on the 6th floor. Room itself however, is becoming dated. Bathroom door incredibly difficult to close, paint and wood scraped off in some areas of the room and the shower head leaks significantly. Also, not sure why I am charged for a "Resort Fee" as the pool is closed as is the business center, bar.etc...after certain hours. Overall, good place to stay..a bit pricier than hotels not too far away however.

This property is in a quiet neighborhood. The beach area is not as populated, which makes is nice to relax. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. I did not hear any of the other guests. The beds were not very comfortable and, to my knowledge, no wifi, but other than that, great place to stay.

This hotel is beautiful with easy access to the beach. It is in a quiet residential area and they keep it very clean. The rooms do have carpet though, and my first room smelled musty. I uinderstand that they are being renovated this winter. I upgraded to the ocean front and that was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times because of its location and price. The service and amenities are lacking so I only gave it an average rating. They have what could be an incredible breakfast area and happy hour bar but they aren’t used. You can’t even get hot water for tea after breakfast. Plus you have to supply your own tea bags. I wish I could rate this hotel higher but I don’t feel they are trying very hard to make guests feel welcome. The rooms are nice sized but starting to show their age. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay for Myrtle Beach.
