Suggestions for beginning a more enjoyable stay
Overall stay was good and a fairly quiet area (other than the condo directly above us) but a couple of things could be slightly improved in my opinion.
First I believe the locations of the offered facilities need to be communicated/marked better. For first time visitors it is difficult to locate some of the things offered by the resort.
Maybe offer a better information pamphlet of the surrounding area or supply something that the chamber of commerce/parks departments/entertainment companies & businesses offers, and more information on easy beach access points. Things such as if deep sea fishing/jet ski rental/scuba diving, etc… are available might be a plus as well.
These are the two biggest suggestions I have and that’s merely because we did a large amount of driving around when we arrived due to getting there early to see what was available and close to us so we could start enjoying our time sooner.
It wasn’t until the 3rd day we actually discovered areas like Lulu’s restaurant and that small area that was actually close and didn’t realize it sooner and only then because my daughters were at the large pool and happened to look across the channel and saw it.
All in all a good stay, but I am one that likes a large amount of information when I get somewhere so I don’t have to fight the crowds/traffic to determine what we will want to start doing first and move on to next.
