Clarion Hotel Stockholm

8/10 Good

"I had a very pleasant stay at the Clarion Hotel in Sweden, and honestly, the service, food, and cleanliness were all great. But the one real drawback for me was that I couldn't adjust the room temperature to a comfortable level. It made it pretty hard to relax. Everything else was lovely, but temperature control really matters for a comfortable stay. A fix there would make a big difference."

Downtown Camper by Scandic

"The Downtown Camper was an excellent hotel in so many ways. It is a few minutes walk from the Central Station for trains and close to the Tunnelbanna (metro). It is an enjoyable stroll along the water to various tourist destinations (museums, parks, shops etc). The hotel itself is camping themed -very clean with an excellent breakfast buffet. The Grill provides excellent dinners -we ended up eating there twice as the food was so good. There is a rooftop bar with an excellent view in addition to the ground floor bar all of which provide a chilled atmosphere and excellent drinks. There's a fire pit in the middle of the ground floor bar and restaurant where you can roast marshmallows. We didn't visit the spa or pool but only because we ran out of time. Our room was huge and comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say is that our room overlooked a central square with a fountain and occasionally it was a bit loud, but this may not be the case on other sides of the building or floors (we were floor 2). Despite that, we would definitely stay again."
