Getaway

The property was nice overall. Kitchen had lots of amenities. The location was a bit busy and noisy. Furniture was okay. Not a fan of tv so high you strain your neck to see.

Even though it wasn’t beach front property, the walk to the beach didn’t take long.

It was the cleanest beach rental I have ever had. Even my family was happy with its overall cleanliness and maintenance. A perk was a small grocery store within walking distance that came in very handy. Jeanette Pier was close by also. One of the cleanliest and best maintained piers I’ve visited. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool after playing at the beach. I would rent this breach house again.

Extended Getaway Weekend

Great house. Met the need for a winter getaway weekend. The house was clean. Great kitchen with all the necessary dishes, wine glasses and utensils. Hot tub and pool table were a hit. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were great. A bit hard to find the turn in street. Could be better flagged. But not an issue.

Lots of stairs

Overall the house was good for everyone. The 3 levels of stairs was a little much though. The kitchen was the top level, game room was bottom level with three of thr main bedrooms in the middle, this setup called for up and down the stairs ALOT.

2024 beach vaca with friends

The house was very nice and was big enough for our gang of 12. The pool table was awesome. The outdoor area could use a little TLC. The pool filter needs replaced. The filter kept stopping and the pool was often dirty. The hot tub cover was old and ripped. There was Styrofoam floating in the hot tub. Overall the house was nice and in a good location.

Daughter’s Wedding

Our family stayed here for the week before our daughter’s wedding. Beautiful decor. Very spacious and extremely clean.Great location and many things to do nearby. Wright Brothers Museum and Memorial nearby.Short walk across the street to beach. There is an ice cream shop behind the house and there is a little market. Food Lion and many restaurants.The Outlets are across the street for shopping. Next door is Whalebone Seafood Market with great selections of fresh fish and they will prepare dinners for pick up. Our favorite restaurant was Miller’s on the Waterfront with great selections of seafood.The downstairs was a beautiful area with a pool table and extra refrigerator right off pool area with hot tub. Our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time making memories. Our daughter got married on Saturday At Jeanette’s Pier which was a fabulous location on the beach which was about 0.1mile from the beach house. There are a lot of steps as kitchen is on top level if someone would have trouble with steps, however, there is a bedroom with a queen size bed on the first level and full bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Tub in master was dirty. Our linens were in totes out front filled with water. Chewing gum all over the driveway which we stepped in. Cigarette butts, garden tool, food and drink containers outside on the property. Outdoor pool was filthy and hot tub the same. Wooden walk between properties was falling apart with brittle boards sticking up as well as nails. Old hot tub cover which another tenant complained about had been tossed in the bushes! Our donuts that we left in a box on the counter was full of ants the next morning. The refrigerator downstairs was filthy. Dust was hanging from the walls above the upstairs kitchen cabinets. The mattress cover on the master had some kind of stains or something else on it. Finally on top of that second to the last day of our stay while we were at the beach, we came back and there was a strong odor of raw sewage and we could hear an alarm sounding with a red light flashing at the bushes behind the hot tub! We looked and it said to contact the facility and that’s how we found the old hot tub cover and we also contacted Cove Realty who manages the property only to be told it was our fault and that we had used the dish washer and washer too much which that was not the case! So we got to smell sewage the remainder of the stay but I will never again rent anything the Cove manages! Renters beware!
