The rental was a wonderful place to stay. There is a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and close to many local attractions. The house has beautiful decorations. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances.

Back in Time

My family and I stayed at the Four Winds many summers in the 60s. The cottages are just as wonderful today as they were then. Comfy and cozy and well-stocked with the necessary amenities. I highly recommend them.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was the perfect size for our family of four. We especially appreciated the ability to bring our dogs…they loved the outdoor area! We will definitely be planning another visit.

Nice location

This cozy cottage was in the perfect location. The kids could ride their bikes everywhere and the private beach access was across the street. Excellent food near by and nice shops. Cottage was clean and tidy, it came with basic amenities. I liked the bedding was packaged ready for us when we got there. Would stay again for sure!

Convenient and clean

My family has stayed at this cottage multiple times over the years when we visit the outer banks. The cottage is very accessible to the beach (just across the street from public access) and to the rest of nags head. The cottage is clean and small, but perfect for those who aren't looking for a whole mansion and like it cozy. Not the most up to date, but was exactly what we needed overall. Will use again!

Four Winds Cottage 1 is a cozy spot for a small family that welcomes your furkids. It was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The welcome amenities were greatly appreciated. Located near by, grab a great breakfast at Sam & Omie's or enjoy dinner and music at Fish Heads Bar & Grill.

Cozy!

Cute little cottage, close to beach. Though the furnishings weren’t fancy, the linens we rented were surprisingly soft and lush and the kitchen was well-stocked. Super-fun!
