콜로니얼 스타일의 호텔 건물 보고 한 100년은 넘은줄 알았는데 30년 넘은 호텔이었다. 컨셉이 마음에 들었다. 호텔 방에서 보이는 골프코스와의 조화가 너무 잘 어울리고 18홀 골프코스 돌고나면 운동 제대로 한것같아서 뿌듯하고 좋음. 호텔 시설중에 실내 스쿼시도 있고, 조깅트랙도 있고, 숲이랑 커피 나무들이 잘 어울어진 곳인데 새의 종류들도 많아서 골프만 칠것이 아니라 새 종류 찾아보는 재미도 쏠쏠~ 가족 여행이나 혼자여행이나 모두 다 즐겁게 할만한 분위기가 잘 되어잇어서 참 좋은 곳! 추천합니다~

Property felt like a colonial area resort full of mahogany, high ceiling etc, right out of Agatha Christie's murder mystery book. It is a different experience all together almost like time travel. Service is great and people are nice.

First of all it was aesthetically beautiful! I loved the largess of it, the cleanliness, and the staff were so attentive. I have only one suggestion? Please update the weight lifting equipment area. The pool was absolutely perfect in every way! I took a golf lesson as well and David was a superb teacher!

The setting -- the golf course and the expansive forested walking areas -- is gorgeous. The hotel's staff were so supportive and friendly, and the food options were excellent. The beautiful old colonial era architecture of the hotel gives it a unique feel. Nothing else quite like it in Nairobi!

Avoid! This hotel is falling apart from the severe lack of maintenance. It seems as though the owners are only interested in extracting profits and have neglected this grand hotel to ruins. Half of the lights in our room didn’t work. The light outside our room didn’t work so it was hard to see in the dark when going in and out. The kettle was broken. The TV plug was broken in half, exposing electrical wiring and it was dangerous to use so we didn’t. We reported this to reception on arrival but they just shrugged the shoulders and said ‘we know about this’. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water tank to the toilet took 5 minutes to refill so you have to remember not to use it immediately after another person. The mattress was very uncomfortable. It’s an open spring mattress with no padding on the top. You can feel the springs when laying in bed. The single glazing windows kept the weather out but not the noise. We heard children shouting from the pool most days. There is no air conditioning so be mindful when booking this in the summer, oh wait it’s Kenya so it’s always summer! Despite the list of restaurants and bars listed, therewere only two menus being used between all of them. They often ran out of things. One day they had none of the desserts on the menu. The service provided by the staff was wonderful but it does not make up for everything else. It’s difficult to understand how this hotel was allowed to be rated 5 star.

Glimrende for avslapping, trening og kos. Fantastisk eiendom, harde madrasser og dårlig wifi trekker ned. Stedet bærer preg av falmet storhet, men er eiekoselig og hyggelige folk. The Palm bruker noen timer på å levere mat uansett hva du bestiller, men stedet er nydelig.

Great place for a break, but with some minuses.
Very classy colonial style resort. A testemony of former glory, the hotel is Nice but a bit worn down. Very Nice for a gettaway, but not workable for business with wifi only working in lobby. Extremely uncomfortably hard madrasses. If you want air condition there is none. Very nice staff. Open and beautiful nature. A beauty near Nairobi.

A restful stay, to reinvigorate
We stayed here pre safari then decided to return after our safari. It suited us very well. It is in a quiet affluent suburb, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and nightlife. Beautiful grounds, nice golf course (I don’t play, but the course is beautifully tended), delicious meals ( B&B but had dinner in restaurant). The hotel maintains a traditional, characterful feel to it, which was part of the charm.

Thank you for an excellent stay. Friendly people, from the airport shuttle driver Moses, Sam at Check in, Fiona at reception and Concierge, nothing was too much trouble. Warm welcomes all round. Windsor have held on to their old traditional charm which was lovely. It has soul, warmth and history and that’s why I loved it.

Windsor was quite disappointing. The place is still quite lovely but standards have dropped significantly. The service was slow, food was so so but quite pricey. I had a terrible night with possible food poisoning on our second night there.

Huge potential but short of the mark
Positives first. Location: hard to beat if you want peaceful tranquility, fantastic. Staff: very friendly and for the most very helpful. Breakfast: excellent. Golf course layout: first class. OK, for the rest. Room cleanliness 2 stars. Windows haven't been cleaned for probably 5 years. Room lighting: poor. No kettle. Restaurants: average at best. No cheese available for 3 days in one of the 2 restaurants meaning half the things on the menu not available. One day I can understand, but not 3. I offered to go to the supermarket the next day and buy them some cheese. Because of it's location, travelling out for dinner as an alternative was difficult. Wifi: average at best. Golf course greens; very ordinary condition boarding on not worth playing.

Over Delivered!
Loved my stay at Windsor. The staff were very warm and welcoming. After an early check in, I enjoyed a round of golf on the well kept golf course. On return, they surprised me with a room upgrade to one of their excellent studio rooms. The hotel is very family friendly. I plan to go back for a family vacation stay in the near future. Very quiet, expansive space and beautifully manicured. On checkout, the general manager Mr. Vijay Krishnan and front office manager Jedediah Waikiki came to bid me farewell adding a very personalized touch to my stay. I will definitely be back, this time with my whole family.

Services could be improved for 21st century guest comfort: - no tea / coffee maker in room so if you need to have a coffee at 3am, you need to call the butler, - no iron / ironing table. Irons are rationed over many rooms so you wind up either wearing crumpled clothes or engaging hotel laundry to straighten a shirt. - creaky bedposts and wooden floor boards.

Beautiful old hotel on a really nice golf course.
I stayed for a layover weekend in Nairobi, and wanted to be able to craft a rest and recuperative stay. Was exactly what I needed. Really good course, nice facilities, restaurants, etc.

A very outdated hotel with a great golf course.
The effort to make the hotel look like a period piece have resulted in the rooms being antiquated and very sub-standard for the high price. The staff is excellent.
