Basically it’s a concrete room with a bed on a busy highway. The staff (owners?) are clearly hard workers and the bed was very clean. It was a long weekend and the price for this hotel was double what it should have been. It’s a $100 hotel. Walk up a block to see the old town. It’s a nice walk

Gorgeous view, helpful staff, amazing location. The vintage and retro vibes were strong in this establishment. I wish we had booked more nights here than in Duncan.

We needed a place to stay last minute as everything else in Nanaimo was booked, so this place was it. The bed was comfortable and we had a roof over our heads, so it gets 2 stars for that. However, the other guests were extremely noisy, knocking randomly at our door, and continuously setting off the fire alarm. I have to give it to the owner and staff though - they were all really nice and obviously used to putting up with unruly tenants. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless I truly had to.

The manager was extremely helpful !! 😊 My room was cool enough even though the outdoor temperatures soared to 28 degrees and hotter! Wi-Fi was available and there were a number of channels to choose from on TV. There were cafes and restaurants close by. The flowers were a lovely addition to the property! 🌹🌸 The price was more affordable than other hotels in the area! 🤗 Margot Denny Nanaimo June 24, 2026
