Being on the outskirts of the city allowed us to walk into Nantes (just 20 minutes) and visit the fantastic Isle of Machines, the bustling water front and the Natural History museum. We also visited the brilliant Plage De La Noevveillard - a beautiful beach on the West coast - just 50 minutes drive away. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to cook many meals at home.
