El olor en el baño era horroroso, olía muy mal, era insoportable, la ducha tenía cal por todos lados, no me pareció nada adecuado… y las paredes eran de pladul. Y mucho ruido de la calle, se escuchaba todo. Nos hubiese gustado además de la limpieza y el olor adecuado, nos hubiese gustado al menos tener un par de botellas de agua y cafetera y café para tomar, gratuito. ( como en todos los hoteles a los que fuimos). En conclusión, mucho tiene que mejorar este hotel.

The room and bathroom are especially beautiful. Please be aware - important! - this hotel is on the 3rd floor (for an American) of a beautiful, historic Naples building with a grand,c wide circular staircase. It is only convenient if you are together, have lightweight luggage or get an assist from the staff. Please note that the staff are only on location for your check-in and check-out. In some ways, it is more like renting an Airbnb. But quite beautiful despite the less attractive narrow street in the historic district.

Zimmer sehr hellhörig, kalt (waren im november da), abgerissene tapeten, viel Schimmel in der Dusche und auch im Badezimmer. Badetuch mit Flecken. Kühlschrank im Zimmer der die ganze Nacht laut brummt. Unbequemes Bett & Kissen. Alles in allem sehr schlechtes Zimmer. Gut war die Lage und das Personal war nett. Dieses Hotel würden wir nicht nochmals buchen.

While the actual accommodation was pleasant, clean and well appointed, I found this to be a very unsafe place to stay as a woman travelling alone. The inn is located on a side street with no obvious entrance and no lighting at night when using the key-the first of 3-needed to access the building. Accessing the room required going up 3 flights of stairs, with no elevator and once in the room, I had real trouble accessing cell service which made me feel less safe. I would not recommend staying here alone, despite the quality of the rooms themselves. Even accessing the inn was a challenge-the cab drive refused to drive into the old city center and so I had to walk in to find the inn which as I mentioned was not well marked. Luckily my friends walked me back to my hotel after dinner. They too were concerned for my safety because of the lack of lighting.

Vert nice place, in the middle of the historic center. Breakfast at a bar close to the b&b. Autentick - coffee, juice and croissants. Charming and nice room, with a balcony. Clean room, nice bathroom. Helpfull and friendly staff. A lot of stears, but good for exercise ;-)

This spot is essentially an Airbnb-style setup on one floor of an older apartment complex. The Good: Great location! (you can walk to everything), and the rooms were recently renovated and semi clean. (Semi clean as our top blanket had a stain) The Not-So-Good: It's a climb—be prepared for 80-100 steps in an older, dimly lit stairway with some visible cracks on many of the steps. Overall: 3.5/5. Great for a quick trip!

location was central, outside appearance and main floor entry were not clean and dark. Stairs going up were cracked and not clean. We were aware that there was no lift, but underestimated that the 2 story building was not easy to go up with luggage. The front desk staff were pleasant. There was a terrible odor in the room, it smelled like backed up sewage the entire time we were there. It was hard to sleep on the twin bed, the mattress was slanted and felt like rolling out of bed.

This property is hard to get to by vehicle. There was no way our van, with the six of us, could get to it so we had to walk with all our luggage about 2 blocks on cobblestone. Even small taxis have difficulty as the street is really the size of a large sidewalk. The outside of the property was discerning. The main entrance to the building was dingy. We knew there wasn’t a lift but underestimated the actual number of stairs there would be in the 3 storeys up to the Santa Chiara Inn. It’s an old, long marble staircase that seemed to go on forever. This is not accessible for anyone with less than an average fitness level or with any type of mobility issues whatsoever. There was no way we could all carry our luggage up the stairs. Thank goodness there were a couple of men in our group to carry the heavy and large bags. We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful rooms after a rough start. They were very clean and Anna worked hard to finish our rooms so we could check in early. One of the rooms did have a sewer smell so that wasn’t good. Genaro was patient with our language barrier and was good at communicating before and after our arrival. In the end, we were happy to stay in the heart of Naples, full of character and vibrancy!

We drove from the airport. Did not know that GPS does not help in Old Town. Too often went the wrong way down one-way street and had to back out. Drove around and around trying to find the hotel. It’s down an alley with no sign on the little tiny street. Luckily, I inquired in advance about a parking lot. Without that name, we might still be driving around! Next time, don’t drive into Old Town. Let a local Uber get you there. … also, like other European small hotels, this one is on the third floor of an apartment building. There is no lobby. You walk into an unappealing ground floor with garbage cans. You walk up 3 flights of stairs (don’t have heavy luggage!). Once you enter the flat, everything will be fine. We enjoyed our stay.
