Well, first of all—the bed was extremely comfortable! Kudos to Sunesta for investing in mattresses that allow one to get a good night’s sleep! …..
However, their front desk staff were some of the most ill-mannered and unhelpful people I have met—and seem to be quickly frustrated by the simplest of customer requests. Not only mine, but I observed their attitude and discourse with other tenants, too.
But for me, I was only provided with 2 washcloths in my room for a 4 night stay. No worries, I thought to myself. I’ll just request housekeeping staff to replace them in the morning with the front desk. I still haven’t seen anyone from the housekeeping staff—and the lady in the evening at the front desk gave me 1 washcloth. No housekeeping staff ever entered my room to clean or replace towels/washcloths upon my requests.
Staff at front desk are not suited to take care of their customer tenants. They seemed more inclined to DENY a customer request than make the effort to grant it.
I realize that my comments are entirely subjective—but nevertheless there we are. But objectively—I will NOT stay at Sonesta again.
