Abode Nashville

This was a very nice place to stay. It is well kept and a cozy home. The only thing I had trouble with was the booking process. There are so many different step to complete. The abode team is very helpful when you run into problems though so that helped alot.

Nice unit but property has issues

The outdoor space needs significant attention (lawn mowed, dead bushes removed). The listing did not explain the significant walk from the parking to the unit. The unit itself was nice and the shower was amazing.

Identity verification absurdly difficult

To be clear I am giving this property one star mainly for the identity verification. Without that they would get a 2.5. After paying with a credit card and payment was pending and there was not an option of canceling I had to send a selfie of my face with driver’s license. Another picture of my credit card. A screen shot of my banking statement of a charge they put on my card. And yep, still not enough. A four page rental agreement listing all guests name’s birthdates and emails. Already in a bad mood because of this we pull into a not so great neighborhood. What looks like section 8 housing across the street. The place we stayed in looked like converted section 8 two story housing. The VRBO parking in back is extremely packed and hard to find a spot. Walking from parking to unit we pass a keg party. So this is the reason for the extensive verification process. This is a party place. Which would explain the earplugs we found on the bedside table. However the place is well furnished and we had no other problems. I think this is a good spot for kids looking to party. But don’t be fooled into thinking you are going to be staying in a high rise in downtown Nashville in a decent neighborhood like we were.
