Nashville stay

Check in was good. Grass was overgrown in the front and back. Shrubs lining the yard and drive way were over grown. Many amenities like corn hole were not present. The listing states city is 1.1 miles away definitely way farther then stated to downtown broadway. Door knobs fell off bathroom doors, floor transition was coming up off dining room. Code never worked on front door to get in. (Maybe our fault. ) Couldnt find any trash cans outside. Backyard way over grown to sit comfortably. Location of home is in a rough neighborhood but neighbors where polite and friendly.

We were extremely disappointed with this location. It started on arrival we found leftover container of fermented ketchup that literally exploded when we tried to throw it in the trash. Not long after there were several cockroaches crawling on the counter in the kitchen. Once we settled in we tried to turn the heater on but only cold air come out and the temperature was 64 degrees. We contacted the management company and received AI response. The following day we talked to a representative who assured us the heater issue would be resolved. Late afternoon we called again and finally someone showed up but could not repair the heater. We chose to leave and get a hotel in town for the remaining 2 nights we had contacted for. There were several other issues with the location that were a safety hazard. We would never recommend this location to anyone considering it. The management company did refund some of our money but not nearly enough of the total amount we payed for this booking. VRBO should contact us to consider further refund as we had to spend considerably more for the hotel we had to book for the remainder of our stay in Nashville.
