We are disappointed that you did not connect with us during your stay so that we could have talked you through how to relight it. Yes, we did "work through these issues," as we cleaned a stain on a quilt and swept up some mouse droppings...as well as gave you a nice refund. We are proud to report that the majority of our guests state we have clean and comfortable cabins. If we have an occasional housekeeping concern, we always try to take care of our guests immediately. We do wish you would have brought your concerns to our attention before the end of your three night stay and not the morning of your departure. We could have easily addressed them.

Peter has been hunting replacement rails for the pool table, so please know that we do care about its maintenance. Many guests continue to enjoy a casual game of pool there. We are sorry for your experience with the driveway, Mary. We have been searching for someone to level it before we pour more stone over it, but no one is available! They are already loaded down with work elsewhere. We will keep trying, however, as we strive to make our space a comfortable one for our guests! BTW...the cabinets and drawers have never had knobs on them. They are "handleless" cabinets with special channels on the sides for opening them.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Sarah. We are pleased that, overall, you had a good stay. We will definitely look into all you mentioned. It is unfortunate that you did not contact us about any of this during your stay, because we would have tried to make things right with a quick trip the store for more plastic chairs or another light cleaning for you. Most concerning is that you say you did get to enjoy the hot tub during your stay. That makes us sad! It is in perfectly good working order and heats to temperature, so it must have been something small that we could have come down to assist you with.

Sorry, but we do not advertise ourselves as handicapped accessible. We do know, however, that a few people in wheelchairs have enjoyed their stay in our cabins with the wide wrap around decks and the floor plan with a master bedroom, bathroom, and open concept kitchen/dining/livingroom that allows wheel chair access. If you had let us know, we would have fashioned a temporary ramp for your mother.
