「The property is a ways off the beaten path over a narrow rural road and a gravel road. A bit strange to park underneath the house and climb stairs to the ground floor, but it’s a lovely house with a killer view of the Little Missouri River! Pretty new, very clean and well furnished. Loads of party room both underneath the house and a huge balcony deck. We enjoyed the property and would recommend it.」

「well appointed kitchen, beds comfortable/clean. No HVAC system, room heater wouldn't work, ceiling in living room coming down, screen porch in poor repair, no towels (think at least there should be) no outlet in. bathroom and no place to plug in hair dryer & use a mirror. I had asked for a number to call owner & didn't get one, I arrived late due to numerous traffic delays, used ring doorbell and said to leave a message, as I was walking away it started talking to me and told me where to go....

「The cabin was very cute and it's in a little circle community of other cabins and campers. The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. You have to cross the road to get to the restroom center (it's like a lake community bathroom) but the road wasn't all that active that you had to worry about it. 「We had a wonderful time at Coulter Farmstead. The property is very family-friendly. The kids had a great time playing with the cows, goats, and chickens. They especially enjoyed getting to hold two newborn goats. Katie and Justice are both kind hosts and I enjoyed learning about the history of the buildings. 「No one in the office. Pushed a ring door bell someone came from across the highway. Just was told key was in the cabin and that it was unlocked. Didn’t see a sole the whole weekend. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. Not sure if I will stay again.」

「The cabin was exactly as described. We loved the wrap around porch and that it was gated. So our granddaughter could run and play and we could set and relax and not have to chase a toddler down. The only down side was they were working on the cabin next door to us. And they had dogs. I love dogs, we have dogs. But we don’t allow our dogs to run everywhere and certainly not to other property. The dogs were small but very aggressive and they would not listen to the owner and return on their own....

「We really liked this house. It looks small, but there is room for quite a few people. We enjoyed the decorations and the fire pit by the carport. We want to come back with our daughter and her family in the next couple of years. The only thing we didn't like was that is it no handicap accessible. My husband is disabled and had some difficulty with the steps going into the house and the throw rugs on the floor.」

It was a 20 minute drive to anything. Our only real complaint was the bedroom area was small. There was only enough room on the sides of the bed for one of us to get out, so I had to slide down the bed to get out.」
