Enjoy your stay in paradise with the feeling of home! Blue Heaven is a recently renovated property near downtown Nassau with modern amenities & tons of natural light! Prime location for beach lovers, less than a minute walk to soak up some sun on the famous Junkanoo beach or sink your teeth into a fresh conch salad at Arawak Cay.

Because our property is centrally located you don’t need a rental car. Blue Heaven is walking distance to local food spots, shopping and local attractions like the Straw Market, National Art Gallery of the Bahamas and Fort Charlotte! Easy access to public transportation too ($1.25 per person/each way)!

Property has 2 private rooms a bathroom, living room and fully equipped kitchen. The building complex has 24-hour security with a guard stationed outside.

Elevator don’t work so 3 floors up with luggage in that heat ! We checked in first thing giant dead cockroach next to fridge ... bugs all over counters ... ant and roach spray on top of fridge .. filthy sink !we kept everything in fridge bread .. cereal boxes EVERYTHING.!!! Walking around in bare feet not recommended... feet were BLACK from the dirty floors .. no pillow cases on pillows ... or provided pillows are plastic .. bed is old and springs will kill your back ... on vacation I want a nice clean soft bed .. Not here !! 2 towels provided for a week stay .. ? Location is great .. but not happy with this condo stay .. will return to bahamas just not here 🙁

Close to city center and junkanoo beach

The apartment was close to every thing down town. No counter space in the bathroom. The balcony windows needs curtains for privacy especially at night. The balcony doors were hard to lock because of inferior installation. The elevator wasn't working and the condo is on the 3rd floor. The Kitchen had few small bugs,ants termites. Kitchen needs a few new small appliances . eg tea kettle spout was rusty,more pots and pans needed . As such we did not use kitchen. There were misquotes flying around inside. Did not receive proper information to access apartment key less entry. Bed rooms also have key less entry so you have to remember codes in case doors are closed. Main door could use extra security latch for internal security Laundry facility in building dirty and most washer/dryers not working. Thought owner was going to stop over so we could show him everything , but he never did. We actually had a week there but left after 4 days to stay in hotel because of kitchen and mosquitoes.

Nice but could use some updating

Good location, within walking distance to most attractions, restaurants, and the beach. The building could use some updating—paint chipping off, cement breaking apart, balcony railing rusting. The pool needed to be cleaned, lots of leaves etc floating in the water. The inside of the apartment was nice. It was clean and welcoming. It would have been nice to have some extra bath towels and dish clothes/towels. We had one dish towel and an old sponge for dishes. The bedroom closet doors were hard to open (sliding door). No counter space in the bathroom.

Cute condo. Good location.

We spent two nights in the Blue Heaven at the end of a week long stay in the Bahamas. The condo and location are exactly as described and shown. It's located in a very bustling part of the city with lots of restaurant and entertainment options nearby. Inside, all of the furniture covers, linens and curtains appear to be somewhat new. It's a cute place. We appreciated the individually controlled air conditioning units in the main living area and both bedrooms. Those seemed new as well. The balcony windows let in lots of sunlight giving the place a bright feel. Overall we had a very nice stay there. The reasons for 4 vs. 5 stars are: The elevator wasn't working and the condo is on the 3rd floor. I see now that the listing indicates the elevator isn't currently working, but I didn't catch that beforehand and was surprised. We had big bags and I have a bad knee so the stairs were a challenge. The second reason would be the kitchen. It wasn't as clean as it could be. I pulled a plastic pitcher out of the cupboard and the inside was moldy. After seeing that I felt I had to wash all dishes before I used them. (not a bad idea in any rental though) There were tiny little ants around the sink. My husband said the ants may be unavoidable in that climate but I didn't see them in other places we stayed. The refrigerator had water on the shelves and on the bottom. Possibly from the freezer? It was odd. Really though, the good far outweighed not so good. TIP: If you have time take the short walk up to John Watling's Distillery and take the free tour. There is a very cool old cemetery on the way. We really enjoyed that little outing.

The convenience to the beach and Bay street for the price was great but a little upkeep and upgrade to the condo would make it even better.

Home!

Exceeded our expectations. This place is close to all the major places. There's buses and taxi's everywhere. You can walk to the beach which is right in front, or to the shops which are about 5 min walk. The place has a security guard on duty all the time, who are very friendly as well. The condo is clean, there air conditioners in each room, the beds are comfy. There's a balcony which we used to sit and chill at night. The kitchen has all the amenities you will need. Overall it was a great place and great value for what we spend. Will deff stay again.!
