It was quite a hike up to the castle in a friendly group so I can only imagine what it must have been as a member of an attacking party of raiders. The castle dates back to 1231 AD.

It's great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and adequately clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I, however, found the location to be slightly tricky. I wish they offered 24 hours desk service.

The overall experience was remarkable. Late checkin experience could have been better and needs some attention. The code for obtaining the key from the key box could have been shared upfront. In its absence, I had to make a local call but I had to borrow a phone from someone locally since I couldn’t make it from my phone that’s from other country.
