Family Vacation

Stayed a week with our adult children. Beautiful comfortable home with plenty of room for us all. Great proximity to Mt Princeton hot springs, and good centralized location for our ski days!

This home had everything. We loved our time here. It was such a a beautiful location. The property was exceptionally clean. The host was also very helpful when we requested an early check-in due to a work emergency.

Fantastic Mountain Getaway!

We loved this property and will return! Rustic charm, on the river, great for kids, fireplace (with wood) and super close to the hot springs as well as BV and Salida. All around perfect mountain getaway!

Great vacation spot

We loved our stay at Cliffs and Streams. It was super clean and spacious and just overall a great experience. The only issue was spotty WiFi which has more to do with the location than anything. Highly recommend.

Nice cabin in the woods

Very cozy cabin in the woods with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen has everything you need to cook wonderful meals. Proximity to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs is nice as well.

Great location and layout!

Home is well-appointed, comfortable, and easy to find. Great view of the river! Easy access to hot springs, Salida, and Buena Vista. Would have like at least one king-sized bed and be able to bring the dog, but our time spent there worked perfectly.

Old friends getaway

The property is set in a great location next to Chalk Creek. The cabin is spacious an clean. It is great for a couple of families since each bedroom has its own bathroom and plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. It is a property I would be glad to rent again.

Beautiful cabin

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at this beautiful cabin. Our group was three adults who each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. It’s sits in a valley near the creek. There are other cabins nearby by we never heard or saw anyone else.

We stayed in December 2022. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. The house is beautiful and has every amenity you can imagine! Clean and stocked with more than we expected. We loved it. I can’t think of anything I would suggest to the owners/management. Great experience all around!

Awesome!

Beautiful property right on Chalk Creek. Property found as listed. We were on the go so much we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities. But loved the fire pit and sitting on the deck listening to the creek. My granddaughter loved the toy closet!

Great spot at base of Mt Princeton!

Lovely house in the woods, right on the stream and minutes from beautiful hikes and the Mt Princeton Hot Springs. 3 bedrooms with queen beds and attached baths, as well as bunk beds in the common area downstairs. Washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. Multiple fireplaces, both gas and natural wood (which you can chop yourself outside!). Lots of games: foosball and mini pool inside, cornhole and horseshoes outside (both kid and adult versions). The WiFi is super weak and can't stream, so there are DVDs and video tapes available to watch instead. It is strong enough to load websites and maps, and to make phone calls if you stand in the right spot (seems stronger downstairs). There's no cell reception, so have your check-in info saved in advance! There are very limited dining options nearby, so bring your own food or expect to drive 15 mins to Buena Vista or 30 to Salida. Most restaurants stop serving at 9pm. Apparently you can usually drive over the Tincup Pass to Tincup/Taylor Park, but it's been raining so much the lake flooded the road! We went over the Cottonwood Pass from BV instead then rented UTVs to drive up to Tincup. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.
