"Excelente ubicación en el Centro a Histórico, muy cerca del Zócalo. Excelente desayuno. Sin cargos ocultos. Un proceso de check in y check out muy eficiente. Todos el personal muy amable. Solamente se nos presentó un pequeño inconveniente en la habitación porque había una gotera, pero lo alertamos y nos cambiaron de habitación."

"Great location in the center of the historical center of Mexico City. Walking distance from the Catedral, the Government Palace, the Fine Arts Museum, Alameda, and many museums and restaurants. Reception and restaurant personnel were very nice and helpful. This hotel has been recently renovated, comfortable beds and clean rooms. I will go back again."

"Loved the moodiness of the hotel but it definitely isn't for everyone as it can be quite dark. Room didn't have any outside facing windows but we didn't mind much. You can definitely hear people in the hallway as well. Had to request a couple of things that typically are in the room but I think it was intentionally left out to be more minimal. Gym was small but well equipped. Pool was right in front of the rooftop restaurant so not sure who would want to have an audience of diners while swimming. Location was a bit of a mixed bag. Great walking distance to historical center attractions. However, it was definitely sketchy at night as all the shops board up and empty out. There's homeless people in the area who leave human feces in the street and we witnessed them doing drugs while coming home late. Can be as much as 40 minutes to other areas during weekends or rush hour with Uber. Staff was really genuinely friendly and helpful, no issues at all. The issues I had was with the room/cleanliness. We had a mosquito problem consistently in our room even with no open windows. Handheld shower didn't work. Got "clean" towels that were frayed and had blood on them which made us question the cleanliness."

"Who This Is Actually For: I’m Mexican, so I expected the noise—especially Thursday through Sunday when the neighborhood is alive with music, people, and that weekend energy. That’s just how our culture rolls, and honestly? It’s vibrant and real. I’d absolutely recommend this for Mexican families needing a few nights in the city, or honestly anyone who appreciates authentic, lived-in neighborhoods over sanitized tourist zones. Who Should Skip It: If you’re visiting Mexico City for the first time and expecting a quieter, curated experience, this isn’t it. This is for people who get the culture—who know that Friday and Saturday nights mean music, life, and yes, noise. If that makes you uncomfortable, pick somewhere in Polanco or Chapultepec or Roma Norte instead."
