"This is the second time I have stayed here and I find it super convenient for hiking in Yosemite since it is located right at the start of many trails. Also Curry Village is very friendly with a very well stocked store and a coffee shop which opens early in the morning which is great when you want to start the day early. Unheated tents are touch and go at this time of season so make sure you are well dressed at night."

"The lodge is right in the heart of Yosemite and an easy stroll to amazing waterfalls. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking The staff was lovely too. But the room itself was not clean or comfortable. It was stuffy, the mattress was old, the cleaning crew left garbage from the previous guest and the bathroom was a little icky. It’s a shame because this place could be an absolute treasure with a big of TLC. "

"My son and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin. I booked this trip very last minute and the host was able to accommodate. I read the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The cabin was very cozy and being able to see and hear the river flowing directly behind the cabin was so peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. The bed was so comfortable, we slept very well and the host was very nice, offered very helpful information and was easy to contact. There is a market just a short walk/drive up the road that was pretty well stocked with items needed that I forgot to get at the grocery store on the way up there so that was pretty convenient. We did have to change the dates due to a power outage caused by a recent snow storm but that actually worked out in our favor bc had we went the original dates I had booked, we would not have had the opportunity to experience seeing the FireFall at El Capitan bc it was not visible during the days I had originally planned on going so my son and I were very happy about that. 10/10 highly recommended and will definitely book again. I hope I can come back in the summer "
