“The hotel and grounds are immaculate. The staff was so helpful and the check in process on line was a breeze. Weber arrived, John reminded us to order our breakfast for the next day. We ordered breakfast and it came early as they knew we were hitting the road. Our entire experience in Provincetown was amazing. We slept so well as the beds were very comfortable. “This historic Inn was exceptionally clean and meticulously maintained. We were greeted on arrival in the lobby by the friendly innkeeper. She showed us around and gave us a welcome gift of delicious cookies packaged with our name on it. Every detail of this Inn was perfect. The room was VERY clean. The bedroom was historic with the furniture and decorations and the bathroom was updated and modern and extremely beautiful. The Inn has won awards for Best Inn, and it is well-deserved. “The Tern Inn seems to have something for everyone. There’s a swimming pool, bicycles, nearby beach, breakfast room with full breakfast included, lovely outdoor patio with plenty of seating, small private cottages, rooms in the Inn and rooms in a small carriage house. "AVOID THIS HOTEL One of the towels provided had a brown stain that was extremely ugly (doubt it may be undesirable marks, with a bad smell). What's worse is that I discovered it after shower when I was using it. This was unacceptable, especially for an esteemed vacation house like this. When I reported the issue to the front desk during check out, I received no apology and was told that no compensation could be offered because the booking was made through a third party (on Expedia), and the front desk could do nothing about it. He said he would report to the manager, and I received no follow-up. I find this response both unprofessional and disappointing. I also wrote an email to the management team and received no response. The general experience was unpleasant. I hope I can receive proper settlement from the hotel management team."
