There is a campground inside Monument Valley. The Campground and the hotel are the only two places you can legally watch the sunrise come up over Monument Valley. The valley road is closed to non-residents during the night.

If you go to campground it is first come first serve, starting at noon. I would recommend going early and grabbing one of the prime spots. You will have an amazing view from your tent of the mittens coming up. This was mine.

「Clean cabin, decent amenities, our only complaint was the beds were extremely uncomfortable. And lack of firewood provided for 5 days we did bring our own and I'm glad we did! But overall it was a good experience and a very cute place 」

「This was an amazing experience for my family! We had 3 generations and people with many different needs and the space seemed to have something for everyone. A big fenced yard where everyone could play cornhole, enjoy the hot tub or chill on the porch or around the firepit. We could see the stars at night, it was peaceful, but being only a few minutes away from Show Low Lake was convenient for a nice day trip.
