Wonderfully relaxing place to stay! Breakfasts were amazing. Marios is a wonderful host and his restaurant recommendations were all excellent, including the one he recommended to me in Athens!

Our stay at Island Escape was Amazing! From the moment we arrived we felt as if we were staying with family! Marios is attentive to all of his guests. We were a party of 8 and he called us all by name. Every breakfast was fresh and a variety of items offered daily. Very tasty!!! Mario's was there for all our transportation and entertainment needs. Marios is an incredible host! Resort was spotless. Rooms beautifully decorated in island decor and very comfortable for relaxing . We had a View of the sea from our patio. Very Short walk to the beautiful beach, Our only complaint was we didn't stay long enough! We definitely will be back to visit our friends at Island Escape! ❤️

This place is delightful. Marios, the host and manager, is thoughtful, efficient, informed, trustworthy, and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and never-ending, served in a patio facing the sea in the distance and the hillside behind you. The rooms are simply beautiful: designed in line with local architecture and tastefully decorated. The bed is comfortable, the shower powerful, and the air-conditioning strong--though in all frankness the night winds do keep the room just as cool. The sound end of Plaka beach is at the end of the driveway, and 300-500m other of the sandy road there are all sorts of lovely beachfront restaurants and bars. Though lively, the best feature of the area is the quiet. This is not a place for crowds. On this end of Plaka beach there were are at least 20 meters between us and the next couple of sunbathers. This area is calm, relaxed, and laid-back and ths vibe is beautifully matched by the accommodation. Here in the evening you'll hear cicadas, not music--and maybe one of the many cats roaming around the fields clamoring for attention. Naxos Island Escape really is an escape, and I can think of very few places around the world--and quite frankly none in the Mediterrenean--that I have liked as much as this.
