Wall-to-wall windows span the width of the condo, offering spectacular vistas from the living and dining rooms. For older children there is a large video game room (including a bull-riding ride), put-put golf, snow tubing (or a zip line in the summer) and trampolines. In July and August Wintergreen hosts a music festival with concerts, master classes, and lots of related activities. It's a great time to visit.

Winter is the prime season at Wintergreen due to its popular ski resort. During winter, the best part of this condo is that you can hit the slopes without having to drive or take a shuttle. Wintergreen offers plenty of activities and entertainment options for guests of all ages, from skiing and snowboarding to golfing and hiking. There are also many great restaurants, shops, and attractions to explore in the area. Don't miss out on the chance to experience Wintergreen in comfort and style. During winter Chair lift and tubing tickets sell out quickly! We recommend buying tickets before you arrive. You’ll find links at wintergreen resort. You may need to reserve ski rentals ahead of time, also (you can rent them from The Ski Barn which is located at the intersection of Rt. 151 and Rt. 664, at the bottom of the mountain.

Things to do around Wintergreen, VA:

1. Wintergreen Resort: This ski resort offers skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports activities in the winter, and hiking, golf, music festival and other activities in the summer.
2. Blue Ridge Parkway: Take a scenic drive along this highway, which offers stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Blue Ridge Parkway and Afton Mountain also offer a variety of trails. The Blue Ridge Tunnel goes under Afton Mountain. Located off State Route 56 you can hike to Crabtree Falls, one of the tallest sets of waterfalls east of the Mississippi River.
3. Crabtree Falls: Hike to the top of Virginia's tallest waterfall, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
4. Rockfish Valley Trail: This hiking and biking trail offers stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the surrounding valley.
5. Bold Rock Hard Cider: Take a tour of this local cidery, which offers tastings of their award-winning hard cider.
6. Stoney Creek Golf Course: Play a round of golf at this beautiful course, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring complete privacy and freedom during their stay. Ample parking space is available in a private area. Guests will receive the door code 24 hours prior to their scheduled check-in.

During the summer, you will have access to the Chestnut Springs Pool on the mountain and the Rodes Farm Pool down in the valley. With four bedrooms and four baths, there’s plenty of room for family and friends to get together for fun and relaxation. Sunlight floods the spacious vaulted living room on sunny days, perfect for curling up with a good book, and there’s a wood-burning fireplace for cozying up on a chilly night. On warm days, you can soak in the sun and dine al fresco on the enormous wraparound deck, stretching the width of the living room and wrapping all the way around to the master bedroom suite.

The condo is well stocked with books and games, and it has high speed internet and Roku TV offering all your streaming favorites. If you’re feeling musical, there’s a guitar just waiting to be played.

The condo has four bedrooms, three of them en suite.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom suite has a king-size bed, a spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower, a Roku TV, and a private entry to the wraparound deck. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a small balcony overlooking the Devil’s Knob golf course.

There are two additional bedrooms on the second floor, both with private baths. One of them has a queen-size bed, Roku TV, and a wide window overlooking the mountains. The other has two twin beds and overlooks the golf course.

2. Bed and bath linens: The best. We love luxe.
3. Hair dryers: Each bathroom has one.
4. Toiletries: We have you covered. We provide shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, hand soap, and all paper products.
5. Coffee: Again, we have you covered. There’s a 14-cup coffee maker on the counter, and we’ll spot you for your first morning or two.
6. Laundry: Second floor laundry closet, with a brand new washer and dryer.
7. TV: Roku TV in the living room and all four bedrooms.
8. Work stations: Two of the four bedrooms have desks.
9. Free firewood: Available right outside the condo’s front door, next to the parking lot.
10. Yoga mats and hand weights: They’re stored in the small closet under the stairs.
11. Infrared sauna: Big enough for two people.
12. Guitar and ukulele: Give them a try!

The condo is on the top floor, and elevator access is not available, so it might not be a good choice for guests with limited mobility.

During ski season, there’s a shuttle bus to the Mountain Inn that stops in front of the condo every 30 minutes. Or, it’s about a 10-minute walk from the condo to the Highland Express chairlift, on Black Diamond ski slopes.

You may need to reserve ski rentals ahead of time, also (you can rent ski equipment in winter and bicycles in summer from The Ski Barn, at the intersection of Rt. 151 and Rt. 664, at the bottom of the mountain).
Motorcycles are prohibited on the mountain.

Guests driving motorcycles may park them at the entrance to the WPOA community office building during their stay.

There is a Ring doorbell next to the front door (for security) and a Ring camera on the deck, looking out over the valley and ski slopes and pointed away from the condo. You’ll have complete privacy inside the condo and on the deck.

We welcome friendly, well-behaved, completely housebroken dogs under 45 pounds. There is an
additional fee for bringing your dog.
