Space is a beautiful and bright one-bedroom condo in the heart of downtown Nelson and moments to Baker Street, the Beach & Ski hill. 5th floor suite boasts fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable Queen Bed & in-suite laundry to clean those sandy beach towels or freshen up your clothes during an extended stay.
Whether on vacation or here for business you will fall in love with this location. Free parking. (Oversized vehicles will not fit in parking lot)

We stayed the the Downtown Mountain Getaway for two nights while mountain biking in the area. The place was just perfect! Very clean, well appointed, conveniently located with a parking space, it was everything we could have wanted. Erin's communication was quick and helpful, and she went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and happy in this adorable condo.

Perfect home from home

This condo was a real cosy and clean home with so many added touches giving it a real feel of luxury. Highly recommend as parking was great, access easy, communication brilliant and location perfect. This is one of the best we've stayed at.

Fantastic property! The location is perfect, within very easy walking distance of everything you need or want in Nelson. The apartment is very well equipped and was perfectly presented. It is the little touches that really make you feel welcome. The kitchen knives were sharp - which tells me that the owner cares! Communication with the owner was smooth and easy. I highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a stay in the area.

Perfect Ski Town Escape!

The flat had everything we needed during our stay and our host Erin covered all the bases and made us feel very welcome. The views are outstanding and the location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay

A most lovely alternative to a hotel room while in town visiting our son. Clean, comfortable, well stocked, centrally located property. Our host Erin was very responsive and thoughtful and checked in with us after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Impeccable Pied a Terre in the heart of Nelson

This property and the property manager Erin, set the highest standard for a VRBO property. The apartment was sparkling clean, bright, quiet, and fully equipped down to the most minute details, for the busy traveler. Probably, the nicest VRBO that I've stayed in; If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Perfect spot for exploring Nelson BC

This was a great condo for our first visit exploring Nelson. It was a quick walk to the downtown core, but a street back from everything so very quiet. We loved the view of the lake and all the restaurants Nelson has to offer. Erin had thought of everything we might need and we had a marvelous stay.

Lovely & Convenient

This is an incredibly nice, clean, and convenient place to stay for a Nelson get-away. So many places are within walking distance, and the host has a beautiful, quiet, comfortable place with everything you need. Also, the view is wonderful. One of the nicest places we've stayed!

Perfect location with special touches

Erin was an amazing hostess and the stay was amazing! The condo was impeccably clean, and we were left the sweetest basket of local beers and goodies. Erin’s response times were fast and I felt very comfortable with all of our communications! Would definitely stay again!!!

This is one of the very nicest places I have stayed! The location offers safety and privacy - downtown and walkable to businesses, but not on the busy street. The property was very clean with attention to detail - the kitchen was especially well provisioned. The owner was quick to reply via messaging to questions that I had. Highly recommend Mountain Getaway!

Great view. Relaxing stay

Everything was as described on the website. Erin is a very organized host. Check in instructions were easy to follow and it was very convenient having a parking space close to the entry.The condo was attractively decorated and very clean. It had everything that we needed for our six day stayLocation is perfect for a stay in Nelson. It is right in the centre of Nelson, with easy walking to numerous restaurants and points of interest.The condo is on the fifth floor and has a magnificent view of the mountains the lake and downtown Nelson. Whether it was day or night, it was always a pleasure just looking out the floor to ceiling windows in the living roomThanks Erin we enjoyed our stay

Perfect spot

One of the best places I've stayed. Looked brand new. Was furnished with everything I needed and more. Great location and view. Host was generous and helpful. I'd love to go back. My only suggestion is to put a grab bar and bathmat in the shower. Thank you.

Erin’s Apartment Downtown Nelson BC

My wife and I loved Erin’s apartment. We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment is a block or so from the busiest part of town which is nice because it is close to all the restaurants and shops but very quiet later in the evening. Situated on the fifth floor, the apartment has balcony with a great view of the river and surrounding mountains. The apartment was spotless, well organized and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. We would definitely stay here again during future visits to Nelson.

Wonderful condo in the heart of downtown Nelson

The condo was beautiful and clean. Many small touches made us feel very welcome. The mattress was firm and super comfortable. Everything works! In-unit washer & dryer was handy. Erin really hit it out of the park with her attentiveness and helpfulness ... she responded to all communications quickly and with the information we needed. In particular, she pointed us to two tire stores in town when we needed to replace a blown out tire. Both places were incredibly nice (one didn't have the tire we needed, which is why we visited both) and OK Tire took care of us in record time. I highly recommend Erin's condo if you are staying in Nelson!The picture is the view from the condo's balcony.

Exceptional!

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Getaway! The owner, Erin, became like a friend and was available to contact each day, offering warm hospitality, regional advice, and a friendly local presence. The view from the bright, clean, and modern condo has got to be among the best in Nelson, and the proximity of the condo to the best restaurants, gelato, and other attractions can’t be beat! From the welcoming bottle of bubbly to the board games, beach towels, and ample necessities, Erin thought of everything to make our stay a true pleasure! We hope to return soon!

Nelson Excellence

This condo is the perfect place to explore and get to know Nelson...so centrally located that almost everything is easily within walking distance. And when you are done for the day, you can look forward to coming back to a place that is welcoming, clean and well equipped..Even the knives are sharp. Sitting out on the balcony, you can relax, enjoy the spectacular view and talk over the great day in Nelson. We had a super time, and would certainly recommend this condo to anyone coming to Nelson. We look forward to a return.

Perfect in Everyway

How do you review a VRBO that is absolutely perfect in every way? The Downtown Mountain Getaway was just that; perfect. The location is superb and walkable to everything Nelson has to offer. We found everything from dining, coffee shops, shopping, and thrifting all within walking distance; no need to drive if you don’t want to. The accommodations were clean, extremely well equipped, tastefully decorated, and included ‘special’ extras from a very thoughtful host. Erin was easy to communicate with both before our stay and during our time in Nelson. We are already planning our next trip to Nelson and will definitely be rebooking the Downtown Mountain Getaway.

Great location, central to downtown Nelson, easy access out of town to ski hills. Well stocked with amenities and welcome treats. Quiet as it is on the top floor and the elevator is close. This is beautifully decorated brand new unit with a fabulous view, it also has access to a roof top terrace. If you have a vehicle there is a designated parking space for the unit.

Fantastic Location, Even Better Host

This place, this location, this host proved to be even better than advertised, which I didn't think was possible. Right off the bat, our host, Erin, immediately reached out to thank us for booking and see if there was anything that we may need. The back and forth dialogue was cordial, sincere and made me feel comfortable to reach out at any point, if needed. As we neared our arrival, Erin spelled out all that was needed to approach the pad as plainly and concisely as one would want. From then on, there were the little things, such as a kind note welcoming us along with a message, here and there, to make sure all was well. The house book was spot on, leaving directions on what was expected during our stay along with directions of how to close the house down. Anything we needed, such as towels, beach towels, etc, was there for us. We also received some recommendations about town. Nelson is a wonderful town, and if you are looking to visit there, make it even better by working with Erin. She genuinely cares and made us feel at home. I sincerely appreciate the impressive effort to make this a worthwhile trip. Thank you.
