A perfect A frame in the heart of the Village

Our family has come to Neskowin for over 20 years. This A-frame is situated in the village, but very close to the ocean. It even has a peekaboo view of the ocean from the loft. We had a great time . The house was well stocked and the hot tub, secluded from the street kept us a warm despite the rainy windy weather. We will definitely rent again.

Great place to stay!

The house is just all around great! Well set up, properly furnished and plenty of amenities to make our stay easy. The hot tub is incredible after a long walk on the beach and we even found the beds and furniture to be very comfortable. Thank you for a great experience!

Great little place!

We really enjoyed the house and grounds, the renovations are great!! VRBO and Vacasa both said the heat didn't work and space heaters were provided (I think I saw them in the closet), but the heat came on while we were there so perhaps the listing needs updating? The rugs, under furniture and in lesser used areas, you may want to do a deeper clean, they were fairly dusty. We absolutely adored it, I am only mentioning for tour info 😊

Cozy Coastal A-Frame

We loved almost everything about this place. It’s cozy and quaint, has a hot tub, and is right by the beach! This place was ideal for a girls trip. We loved the fact that toiletries were provided, the kitchen was stocked with cookware, and there were plenty of board games and puzzles. Things that could improve: the kitchen could use a few more items, such as scissors, cooking oil, aluminum foil, and a sponge, and it could also use a dishwasher. There were also no blankets for the living room. The other thing that could change is the door code length, which was extremely long and tedious to input. We also didn’t see a recycling bin. The home manual lacked any actual instructions for the home and was filled with newspaper clippings. These were all minor things, but just some ways to improve.

Nice location, some changes requested

First, some cons: As other reviews have mentioned, the stairs are VERY steep. Be very, very careful when using them, especially at nighttime if you need to use the bathroom! It feels like you are taking normal stairs two or even three at a time each step. A few things that would have been nice to have in the kitchen: Tupperware, foil, plastic wrap, and/or plastic bags for leftovers, and spatula and different sized mixing bowls for food prep. We did miss having a dishwasher, but there was plenty of counter space to dry dishes. There were quite a few spider nests and cobwebs on the ceiling. The bathroom shower has a gap at the bottom, so be sure to put a towel down because water gets out! You can tell this has done some damage to the floor. The only way to keep the bathroom from steaming up is to open the window. We wished there were more pillows to make the deep couch more comfortable. The seating felt off to the TV placement. PROS: The location was wonderful. Cross the rarely-trafficked road, one house, and you are at the ocean! You can even catch a view of the ocean from the top floor of the house! You can walk to the local store and restaurant in just a few minutes. There is plenty of counter space in the kitchen, and many pans to cook with. It was easy to adjust the thermostat and keep the space comfortable. All the appliances worked well and it was nice having the ability to do laundry. We loved having the window open at night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of shampoo and towels. Overall, a good place to stay. With a few changes, this place would be perfect!

Great spot

More spacious than we expected and great to have two separate bedroom areas. The kitchen was pretty well equipped and the bathroom - while small with a shower - is well designed. This is a great spot for exploring this beautiful section of the Oregon coast.

Great Location, Needs End of Season Care

We stayed in the A-Frame Hideaway for the second half of our Mini-Moon getaway along the Oregon Coast. Neskowin is a beautiful beach town and the community is absolutely lovely. The A-Frame is less than a block from the beach and the famous Proposal Rock! We were able to catch the sunset each night of our stay and the weather held up. The directions in were easy to follow and we had no issues getting into the home. PROs: - The kitchen is lovely and the pictures do it justice. We were able to pack in groceries and make food without any problems in the house. There's even a Delonghi Espresso Machine if you're an amateur barista! - The front porch and the hot tub allow for a lovely stay and are as shown in the pictures. - The bathroom is clean, updated, and appropriately sized for two. Not sure about bigger families. CONs: - The rear screen door was damaged and fully hanging off upon our arrival. It is in need of replacement. The rear door itself feels flimsy and we were unable to lock it ourselves from the inside. - The stairs to the upstairs are unsafe. It is even steeper than alluded to in the pictures and I echo all previous reviewers warning about it. I would not have young children or elderly folks stay there. I treated it like a ladder, but one of the handrails was flimsy and we ultimately decided to sleep in the other beds on the second night of our stay. - Even though it was an A-Frame, we felt the furniture was a bit sparse and wasn't super comfortable Overall, decent value for the money when compared to other local properties, but several items in the house need repairs and updating.

Adorable property in a quiet neighborhood

Went for a little getaway and really thought this was great for a small group. Very close to a great beach, the kitchen was pretty well stocked, the bed was comfortable, and best of all, the hot tub was such a nice way to warm up on a cold and blustery day!

Anniversary getaway

It was nice

I love the home, aside from the small narrow stairs which were quite dangerous actually lol. I really thought it was a quiet calm neighborhood and very short walk 2 minutes to beach amazing beach view from 2nd floor. We did have sand in our beds and wasn’t enough blankets for 6 ppl, but we made it work.

A great Little A frame house perfect for a family of 4

Wed loved this house!! The wooden barrel hot tub was a delite and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and there was great tv for the rainy days and plenty of seating and space for 4 people. The one thing is that the stairs to the loft are not for the faint of heart but i still give 5 stars cause we enjoyed the house so much!

Stormy stay

We stayed over for our birthday weekend. It was king tides and thunderstorms. We are local beach people through and through so we loved how close this property was to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable and as stated before from other reviewers, the loft bedroom stairs are gnarly but the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back as the neighborhood was adorable and provided a great experience for my little one.

A Perfect Getaway

We loved this adorable A Frame in Neskowin. It was right across the street from a beautiful beach. The neighborhood was beautiful and everyone we met was so kind. Our toddler loved the games and little toys. The home was such a cozy place to come back to each night. Wish we could’ve stayed even longer! The jets in the hot tub weren’t working for us, but we still loved getting in after being cold at the beach. Thanks so much! We hope to be back again sometime soon.

Lovely home, lovely town

We loved our 3 day stay at the A-Frame Hideaway. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and content. The house just a block or so from the beach and the residents of Neskowin were very nice. The house is located far back on the lot so it's in the middle of several homes, and you can hear the neighbors quite clearly, especially in the morning. It was very quiet at night though. If you're looking for complete privacy and quiet, this wouldn't be the place. For us, it was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much. We even got a sunny day in May during our stay, which was an unexpected bonus!

Perfect stay

The place exceeded our expectation. It was cozy, clean, well-equipped with easy beach access. A-frame was the perfect get away for our triangle family. Had 2 prior not so good Vacasa experiences and was worry about giving them another try. Good to see they actually have well-maintained and managed properties. The local property mgr was quick to respond and was able to quickly address an issue we had during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Absolute Perfect

It delivered more than expected. The cedar hot run was amazing and well deserved after long daily walks. Also, despite the kitchen being small is size it was amazingly well stocked with everything you’d have at home (good pans, good knives, and and plenty of bottle openers). The steps to upstairs we very steep, but it’s an A-Frame right? Amazing location and perfect for a getaway from the city.

Nice place to stay if you're looking for seclusion

Nice overall. Inside is well kept. The stairs going to the loft are very steep, my partner and I stayed on the pull out couch because of it. Hot tub was good for soaking, it did not have a jet system and no lights around the tub for after sunset soaking.

Too cute

We loved this A-Frame to celebrate my 40th birthday! The town is small and sweet. It’s across the street from the beach, you can hear the ocean at all times. The house is adorable and I loved for the hot tub
