We had hoped to Eat here but had been delayed several hours at the Channel Tunnel and as a result we ate earlier as we knew the restaurant would be closed when we arrived. The breakfast was very good and having read the menu we hope to visit again on another trip. The view of the Etang from our room was nice. The room we had was comfortable and spacious.

Perfect Place to stay for the A28/A88 Autoroutes

We first discovered this hotel through the now defunct French travel specialist VFB as this was included in their La Carte Hotels brochure. Beautiful setting by a lake and close to the A28/A88 autoroutes for access to the Channel Ports. Delicious French menu in the restaurant.

The grounds, the adjacent pond and the dining area look great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the room itself was not up to much - detached bed head, discoloured bathroom walls, discoloured grouting in shower , wardrobe that wobbled when opened - it all suggests a property that needs some love to return it to its former glory. To be fair it was competitively priced and in a convenient location.

Hotel with Character located by side of lake.

Our first time at this hotel and overall we were pleased. A lovely location, a characterful room and a good meal in the evening. we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. However, in our opinion the hotel let itself down a bit with the room as there was no plug in the basis, a half roll of toilet paper with no obvious spare, and no water glasses. We were slightly concerned at the prices of the various set menus (unfortunately no a-la-carte) but in the event they had a small menu that suited us just fine - it was also delicious. Would we go back? Yes, we would.

We arrived at 3pm which was check in time and there was no one there we waited for an hour the hotel was completely closed up looking through windows tables had chairs put up on them like it had been closed for a while we looked completely around the premises there was no one on site and everything was locked up. we then had to drive and find another hotel for ourselves which was very upsetting I tried to contact Hotels.com but was not able to.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich. Hier macht die Chefin fast alles selbst. Zu unserer Überraschung hatte die Küche Sterne Niveau, obwohl das 3 Gänge Menü nur 26,50€ gekostet hat. Absoluter Geheimtipp.

Lieu extraordinaire. Au cœur de la nature, étangs, rivière, bruits de la cascade, oiseaux sauvages. Maison charmante et très bien rénovée. Un hôtel de caractère avec un accueil chaleureux. Dîner du soir vraiment gastronomique. Petit-déjeuner généreux. Une vraie envie d'y retourner.

Etablissement bien placé au bord d'un étang et à proximité de la forêt, au calme. Bonne table, juste dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas servi en terrasse mais dans une pièce sans la moindre vue.

The woman who owns the property was lovely. She spoke both French and English. The restaurant was fantastic! Good choices and good price. The room was great and had a tub, which is unusual in France! Comfortable, good price and good people!

Très agréable

Endroit idéal pour qui recherche le calme de la campagne. Il est très agréable de dîner sur la terrasse qui donne sur l'étang. L'accueil est simple et chaleureux. La chambre est propre, confortable et bien équipée. L'hôtel est aussi un restaurant gastronomique, excellent.

Ls Etangs de Guibert : allez-y !!!

Le site est magnifique au bord des étangs de Guibert, il faisait un temps splendide, le restaurant (soir) est excellent et gastronomique, plats originaux, produits frais, l'ensemble était très agréable au palais. Le petit déjeuner est aussi excellent, bien garni et de qualité. A noter que pour cause de COVID, la chambre n'a pas été faite de trois jours. Même si les serviettes supplémentaires ont été fournies promptement. Séjour réussi et très agréable.

Nous avons adoré le lieu, le coté isolé de l'hébergement. Le cadre est magnifique, le silence qui permet la méditation et le repos.Bien que les propriétaires de cet hôtel soient très accueillants, je pense qu'un petit effort d'empathie serait le bien-venu. en tout cas, si l'occasion se présente, je reviendrai avec un très grand plaisir me reposer. Le point très négatif est qu'il n'est pas proposé un menu à la carte, un menu qu'on peut choisir sans pour autant dépenser des sommes d'argent phénoménales. Un choix à la carte serait le bien venu, l'absence de choix est la raison pour laquelle nous n'avons pas manger au restaurant. Un grand merci malgré tout, et je recommande ce lieux à toutes personnes désirant retrouver la sérénité hors de la civilisation.
