Perfect Stay!

We were in town for a wedding at the Foundry. Home was walkable to town, plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful touches throughout. Hosts were responsive, very comfortable stay. I would book again when traveling to Nevada City!

Wonderful stay!

Our family converged for a local wedding. Three couples and a baby were very comfortable. Cute courtyard and louvered porch. We enjoyed our stay very much!

A wonderful stay

My family and I had a lovely Labor Day weekend here. The house was incredibly clean with lots of space for our group (and a well-stocked kitchen which made cooking together so easy). The location really can't be beat - easy walking distance to town and a short drive to the Yuba river and many trailheads. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming House Near Downtown

What a great property. The house is so charming and spacious, with lovely outdoor spaces and great places to gather. Its easy walking distance to downtown. I also must comment on how comfortable the beds are - we slept great!!

Victorian Christmas

This house was perfect for our group of 7 people. Beautiful old house that had everything we needed. Very comfortable and great ambience. Neighborhood is Beautiful right in old town. We will definitely be back.

This house is well equipped for a short family vacay, which was exactly what we needed! Great location right by town. Host graciously provides coffee, sugar, and creamer and a few other pantry goods. Great recommendations for local meals and sights too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful house in great neighborhood

This 1890 house is extremely spacious! It has comfortable beds, is well-appointed with everything you need to enjoy your time in Nevada City (including towels for the Yuba river!) and has a lovely patio. The host was very responsive and we hope to return.

The house was perfect. We each had a lovely bedroom . A large living room was a comfortable gathering place. The proximity for walking to restaurants and shopping was so convenient. We are looked forward to our next visit.

Perfect Nevada City Escape.

Couldn't be in a better location! Steps to all that downtown Nevada City has to offer. Host communication was amazing and very accommodating. Also appreciated the many kids toys they had in the house which kept my toddler occupied - for those traveling with kids that is a Godsend. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING!

We were in town for a wedding, and stayed at this little gem. Loved the location to town, we enjoyed local coffee shop, farmers market, and the open art studios. What a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing it with us for the weekend.

Great place to explore Nevada City

The home is in a great location for walking to Nevada City, and the hosts are very friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable about the area. They definitely improved our night with a recommendation to eat at Dakan - which was amazing! The only cons are that the mattresses are quite stiff, there are no TVs in the house - which could be great if you want to unplug - and there's not a super cozy place to just plop onto a couch and put your feet up while tucking yourself into a soft blanket. But overall, a quite, charming home with lovely hosts.

Great comfortable spacious home

We were three couples (us & our adult children) in town for family wedding. Close walk into Nevada City. House has both nice outdoor and indoor space so you are not all on top of each other. Living room area with porch was great space for a gathering of our two families before going out to dinner. Lots of family fun games and well stocked kitchen supplies. Appreciated the iron! Nancy wedding.

Location Location Location

I could not have chosen a better place to stay while visiting the quaint town of Nevada City. It is within walking distance of absolutely everything, which meant we didn't have to get in our car once! Also, the house was excellently outfitted with everything we could ever need to make our stay both restful and productive. From the coffee maker, fresh flowers and furry throw on the sofa, to the phone chargers in every common space - we especially appreciated staying at this well appointed home. We didn't have any children with us, but if we did, I would be so grateful for all the children's toys and furniture that was also available. We will definitely return soon! Jan

Great location!

The house was spotless. Comfortable beds, and furniture. We walked to restaurants and shops which was such a bonus since parking can be a challenge in town. We missed having a microwave, but not a TV. There was intermittent problems with the hot water. The only suggestion we would make is to tack down the area rug in the living room, the curled up corners are a potential tripping hazard.
