「We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of room for our two families. The highlight of our trip was our time spent in their backyard. It is huge, we basically had our own snow park. We built our own snowball battle field and sledding track. The property was not too far from Soda Springs Ski resort and Sugar Bowl. 「The property was beautiful. Everything yoiu would need was provided. It was off the beaten path so very quiet and woodsy. Our group of 9 were high school buddies (50 years ago) having our yearly golf trip. Several golf courses within 15 min and after a round of golf in the warm weather, the pool was a life safer. Everyone staying there said the accomodations were beyond their expectations.」

「Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch!」

「The pictures are very deceiving. The house needs major updates. It was dirty and there were cobwebs and spiders. No sheets and no curtains in the bathrooms for privacy at all. We could not shower because of the lack of privacy, and we decided to leave a night early because we were so uncomfortable in the house.」

「Great location with a very nice remodel of an old home. Kitchen and bedrooms are very nice. Back yard is a great outdoor gathering place, even though it was too cold for that during our stay. People with mobility issues should be aware there are some step downs, as this is one of the older original houses (I used to walk by this house in the early '60's, and it wasn't a new house then.). The host was quick to respond to my questions. We had a great stay and I would stay here again!」

「I really thought this was a beautiful house at first glance...seeing is believing unfortunately. The property manager was good at communicating for the check in code...just the house was not clean at all which is interesting because I couldn’t check in earlier due to “extra cleaning” during covid. Hair on the floor, bathrooms disgusting...we bought our own pots and pans to cook dinner on because the grease and grime was so built up. To be honest it looked like someone paid their nephew or niece...

「Stayed here in March so we could snowboard at Sugar Bowl, which is just 10 minutes to the west. There were only four of us, but the place could easily fit a large family -- lots of places to sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and when we wanted to go out for a meal, Truckee was only 10 minutes to the east. The owner gave us her cell phone number upon arrival, and we ended up using it when we couldn't find the remote for the DVD player. (They have a solid collection of movies...
