「The property is much cuter inside than the pictures capture. All the details were covered from towels through welcome snacks. Excellent communications from our hosts. On the old Lincoln Highway it is convenient to places from State Center to Ames. It evoked memories of the former roadside motels along the route that were made up of rows of single cabins and an office. We will definitely be back.」

「Spent the weekend riding the rails and tubing down the river. The house was a perfect location for these activities. Had 4 couples and the house was set up nice so we could all hang out and visit. Communication with the owner was easy when a question came up. If you’re looking for a place in Boone for a big group this house does the trick.」

「Nice place for reunion of 5 college friends. It was nice to have a bed for each of us. However, 2 of the beds were in an unfinished basement, basically a big open space. It would be very helpful if there was a bathroom (or at least a powder room) there. While the listing was technically correct, it was a little misleading saying there are 5 beds.. Overall, we had a great stay as the main floor was well furnished. Nice walk to nearby coffee shop.」
