Great stay!

I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it! Maybe it’s low season for tourists, they upgraded my room and it’s even more spacious than the one I booked. The jacuzzi and fireplace in the room were in use as it was freezing outside. There’s a little garden in front of the room that you can overlook the whole town. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good too!

We came at around 7 pm to check-in but found no one at the reception (several other guests were waiting as well). It took at least 10 minutes from when we arrived for staff to arrive. The room we booked was overall clean. The bathroom was spacious but the lighting was very dim. The property has many floors and lots of steps, so it's quite the workout to get around. It is one of the highest hotels in Göreme and has spectacular, unobstructed views. Their terraces have diverse options for photography, including carpets, a swing, a bed, and a jacuzzi. Overall, this hotel's service and room maintenance could be better, but it is a great choice to take instagrammable photos on their terraces.

We absolutely loved our stay at Travellers Cave Hotel. The staff were so helpful, friendly (even giving us a slice of cake!) and we booked ATV and Green tours and airport transfers through the hotel for convenience and better prices. We researched many Göreme hotels before deciding on this one for the view of the balloons from the terrace and it was outstanding. The deluxe room with jacuzzi and the breakfast were excellent!

It was ok, could be improved

It seemed a great place once upon a time, but not well maintained (the taps are loose, some of the bulbs are broken and not replaced, jacuzzi button wasn’t working, the terrace was full of fluff). The staff was friendly. It was ok for the price we paid, considering how expensive the other hotels are.

Nice cave hotel

Very nice location and friendly staff. We enjoy our stay in the hotel as it has amazing view, especially in the evening. Lots of flowers, small decorations that are so pretty. There were some problems with the toilet fan noise, shower head, but they came to fix very quickly. (Thanks to the staff whom came to fix) Breakfast was included and it was standard Turkish style, the young lady there was so sweet. Check out time is 11am and strictly 11am. But we could leave the luggage there and come back to take them later. Overall, it’s a nice hotel.

Traveller's cave hotel Solo traveller Stay 1 night Month visited : Dec 2024 Pro : hotel allowed me to check in 1 hr early upon availability. Hotel offered vehicle to pick me up and send me to otogar. One male staff helped me to make fire in the fireplace of my room. Guest can experience fireplace in the room. Hotel has certain view as located on up hill. Breakfast is average and standard. Con: cleaning seems not sufficiently conducted prior to my checkin. There was used cup on the table. There was stains in toilet bowl. Towel has stains and black dirt on it. Shower tap is all rustic and old. Re visit : no, there are numerous other cave hotels in goreme. There is no charm to revisit this hotel. Recommend to others : no, Hygiene is important to me when it comes to hotel room.

Love this property!

We absolutely LOVED this hotel! The room was very unique with the cave feel and theme, bed was comfy, living space had a nice sitting area, real fire place, tons of space, bathroom was huge and clean. Only thing that was a bit bothersome was the floor got super wet when we showered – the seal wasn't the best but it didn't ruin our time there. The staff were so helpful and kind to us, they helped us coordinate shuttles for our excursions without question and made sure we were safe and informed at all times. There isn't a pool as stated but there is a jacuzzi tub which was right outside our room (room 5) with a little bistro set. The hotel is pretty much at the highest point in the town, so the views are second to none during the day and at night when everything is lit up. We woke up early on our last day to watch the hot air balloons rise in the fields below, it was an incredible sight to see. There are tons of spots they have set up around the property to take memorable vacation photos. A buffet breakfast is included so we were able to save some money on dining out every day in the morning. My boyfriend and I cannot speak more highly of this property. Caution for those who have trouble walking, since the property is up quite high and it is a very warm climate, you may need to consider booking a shuttle to get you there. The village is very hilly where the hotels are so expect to sweat and be tired by the time you reach your accommodation. There is a secret stairca

The property has a wonderful location at the top of a hill. The views from the hotel are incredible. The hotel itself is centrally located, with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the jacuzzi - very relaxing after a hectic day exploring the sites! The team were incredible. The reception staff were so warm and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. They really made our stay special! Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
