Our stay at this historic home was truly unforgettable. The house itself is impeccably preserved, full of charm and character that made us feel like we had been transported to another era—yet with all the modern comforts we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully maintained, and the ambiance was both warm and welcoming.The property is absolutely stunning, with rolling acreage, a peaceful pond, and grazing cattle that added to the idyllic, pastoral setting. Our kids had the best time exploring the land, running through the fields, and just being outside. The expansive front porch became our favorite gathering spot—perfect for morning coffee, evening conversations, or simply soaking in the views.If you're looking for a place that combines history, beauty, and space to relax and roam, this is it. We had such a great time at this perfect little ranch for a family get together. The property had everything we needed and more. We had activities planned off property but ended up just staying there since there was plenty to do! The beds were cozy, everything worked well. Pickle ball Court was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great Staycation

We were in San Antonio to bid farewell to my sister in law who is moving to Hawaii. Our family of 20 had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy our time there. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and plenty. Lots of outdoor space for everyone to play, large table to enjoy our meals, and a clean swimming pool to keep cool. Management and owners were easy to reach and prompt to reply. We would love to stay there again and are looking forward to it. Highly recommended property.

The pictures don’t do the place justice, very homey feel. Clean towels everywhere. Kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. Multiple grills throughout the ranch. Beautiful scenery. Very private. Water pressure Was better than expected. A lot of beds for all the kids in our family. Was very happy with the place.

NEPHEW'S WEDDING WEEKEND

My nephew got married on 5/05/2023 in Spring Branch at Park 31. The venue was literally not far from this location. The reason we rented this house was the number of rooms and how close it was to the venue. The pictures do not give this place justice. It is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. We are looking to rent it again for a women's retreat for my family.

Family get together from all over.

Over all it was great, had a minor problem first night. Once we got in touch with owner, he was quick to take care of everything. They are great people and I would recommend picking this for your family get together, would also be great for group get together. Great amenities, everything you need was there. Everyone from Grand parents to the youngest had plenty to do and room to spread out. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all the utensils needed for cooking. The pool was great and the barn with pickleball Court was a lot of fun. Sleeping arrangements for 18 was excellent. We made great memories and recommend it for you. We will be back if we can ever get everyone together at the same time.

Amazing Retreat For a Birthday/Reunion Celebration!

We chose this property for an 80th Birthday Party/Family Reunion and couldn't have been happier. There were 20 of us including two little ones and everyone was beyond comfortable. The multiple buildings provide individual spaces for each family group and the common areas were large enough for everyone to congregate. We were pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the amenities were and can't think of anything that was missed. We enjoyed a long weekend of pool time, BBQ's, strolls on the property, longhorns, evening smores, and pickleball! That's right, the owners were kind enough to setup a pickleball net in the barn and we were able to have one of our traditional family tournaments. Peaceful, tranquil, and welcoming with a variety of activities for everyone. We highly recommend Live Oak Ranch for large groups.

Wonderful relaxing family time

This place is wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice. There were 17 of us and 3 babies. There was plenty of space. The swimming pool was gated and away from the house which was good for us because we had children. We enjoyed the pickle ball in the barn as well as the pool. Loved the shady front yard and the tree swing as well as the hammock. Our favorite place so far.

Grandson’s wedding in Boerne

We loved it, our only regret was we didn’t have more time to enjoy the property. There was enough room for everyone but still everyone had their individual space. The property was well keeped up and stocked with all essentials we needed. The grounds are beautiful from the pond, the barn with the pickleball court and the animals domestic and wild. Sunrise in the morning was beautiful, and the surroundings very peaceful. We plan on returning in the future with the hopes of spending more time there. Everyone loved the house but we do have a few suggestions. 1. Masterbath shower has little to no water, possibly the faucet itself. As there was no pressure on hot water if you just turned it to hot 2. Possibly some lighting out by the pool or fix light in pool. 3. Too many twins and not enough full doubles, minor detail and really depends on the group coming. All that said we would definitely go back and recommend. PS had a few disappointed they didn't actually get to see the cows, lol.

Great for huge families!

The property was very accommodating for our family. There were 22 of us and we found everything we needed here. All the kids had a good time running around and swimming. The barn was a good place for us to watch the UFC on a projector that we took. We set up the tables and chairs and enjoyed breakfast together in the barn as a family. Secluded Ranch Getaway

We had a great time we played horseshoes, croquet and relaxed on the hammock and tire swing. Some even braved the cold and took a swim. It was a great location with so much space and privacy where we could reconnect as a family.
