「I was impressed with the staff and their enthusiasm. The hotel is a very impressive building although there was some decorating going on in some rooms during my stay. The only blemish during my stay was the television that a previous resident in the room had changed the settings and so it was not possible to get standard channels.」

「It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. 」

「Lovely pub very pretty right next to the River Thames. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Did not eat in the pub but good menu reasonably priced and the food I saw being served looked good. Room spacious and away from the pub with a private entrance. Comfortable bed good size tv good shower and plentiful supplies of toiletries and tea and coffee etc. Town very pretty and peaceful with a few more nice pubs all about 4 minutes walk away.」
