Labor Day Weekend Fun

We loved staying at this home. It was the perfect location for our 2 year old - right by a park and the High School where he liked to explore the track and pavilion and down the street from a very family friendly burger place! It was a 3 minute drive to downtown and the beaches, which were amazing. The pool was warm and we mainly had it to ourselves during the week! The home was well appointed and the perfect size for our family. Clean and had all the amenities we needed! Since we have a small child, it was great to have a home all on one floor. My husband and I also enjoyed the hot tub. Great stay and would definitely come back!

The rental was just what we needed for a much needed break. The house had everything we could have needed and was decorated beautifully. What a wonderful home - with beautiful amenities and very comfortable features. Really appreciated the details of the house and the level of cleanliness and thought given by the owner. Both adults and kids enjoyed our stay. Loved the hot tub and yard. Short walk to pool and clubhouse which are nestled in the woods. Highly recommend this property which is about a 10 min walk to town. Weko Beach was delightful! A wonderful 3 day stay for sure!

We were impressed as soon as we walked through the door! Location was great and the space was perfect for us. Large kitchen, beautiful screened porch and vaulted ceiling in the living room. I loved the little touches like the twinkle lights on timers and battery operated candles on the mantal. They us feel welcomed and at home.

I was very confused after booking this place because once you book it, all communication and payment is managed by a rental company. It worked out fine and communication was good, but kind of misleading to be posted on VRBO. I was nervous to process a payment outside of VRBO if that's where I booked it. Everything was very clean and the perfect getaway, just a heads up in case anyone else has never had this happen before.

Amazing summer rental with kids

This house was perfect for a family trip with our kids (3.5 & 1 year old.) The house is a great size (all on one floor, which was helpful with kids.) I was amazed to see how clean the house was and well stocked with first aid kits, a full kitchen of appliances, and office supplies as well! The pool is RIGHT near the house, which was great and so convenient. It's a heated pool and you walk about 2 mins behind the house and can find it. It was cleaned daily and now crowded. We hit the pool daily and our kids loved it. The house is also right near some HS fields and a playground, so there's lots of room to wander and take long walks. So conveniently located. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in her house. There's tons of wall hangings and decor for the "Americana" theme which my daughters also loved & the furniture is all wood and provides a fun vacation ambiance as well. If I had to say anything sub-par it's that the beds are VERY soft, so my husband had a bit of trouble sleeping. But honestly it was such a great house and we were so happy with it!

We stayed here with my daughters (2 & 4) and my parents and husband. House is so clean and well appointed (legit it has everything you could need!) The girls love the bunk beds and all the wooden furniture and cute decor. Pool is incredible and just steps away. A true gem in New Buffalo! We have stayed there now two years running!
