Overall, Odette’s is a beautifully appointed hotel right on the Delaware River. Our room was clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. The restaurant and bar on site were excellent and added to the overall experience.
However, on the last night of our stay, a wedding was taking place directly beneath our room (we were on the second floor). You could hear every song the DJ played — the bass was so loud our room was literally vibrating for several hours. We’re all for a good wedding celebration, but given the price point we we’re really hoping for a relaxing evening.
When we mentioned the noise at checkout, the front desk associate was kind enough to comp our valet parking for the weekend, which we appreciated. That said, she mentioned that this happens frequently and explained that when booking through Expedia they are limited in room assignments. She also suggested calling ahead in the future to ask if a wedding is scheduled that weekend. That was a bit surprising — it feels like guests shouldn’t have to proactively check for major events that could significantly impact their stay.
To make matters more uncomfortable, a manager (who never came out to speak with us directly) could be heard loudly reprimanding an employee in the back office area, which wasn’t the best way to end the experience.
It’s truly a nice property, and we understand weddings are an important revenue stream. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend ask not to be above their event space. Disappointing

I have to start with the valet staff… they were absolute gentlemen and provided superior customer service from the moment we arrived until the moment we departed (stayed 3 nights). Our room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive. The rooftop bar served excellent drinks, with an outstanding bartender and waitstaff who made the experience even better. The views were gorgeous, and the hotel truly exudes luxury while still feeling warm and welcoming. We even enjoyed a personal shuttle service into town courtesy of the valet team, such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’ll absolutely be back. Already looking forward to our next visit.

What did we like? Everything! It was the most amazing hotel I have ever been in. And I have traveled the world. Not a thing was out of order. Friendly staff. Immaculate rooms, hallways, even the staircase was wallpapered and lite with beautiful lights. Staff was exceptional. Can rave enough about it.

The room was clean not spotless, staff was excellent.
The only disappointment was there was no place to get a drink after 11. My brother got married and we all went up to the rooftop bar at 10:30
And by 10:45 she was not serving anyone. We wanted to have a few drinks and hang out longer and that was not an option. Downstairs bar was closed as well. The bride and groom should have been told so their guests weren’t left without a place to hang out and have a few drinks together.

Broken handle on the door to our terrace, Nespresso machine was not working properly, the water was foamy white from the faucet (no cold water), the electrical in the room was wonky and left side of the entire room was shorted out.
The staff were mostly clueless. The entire hotel was dusty and light fixtures had cobwebs.
The restaurant I would liken to overpriced banquet hall food. Would not recommend this place at all.

My only comment regarding the stay is the parking. The parking is not really available other than the valet service given the property being next to the water body. It would help to know that so that guests just elect to valet car. I had not idea that there was no other parking and was driving in pitch blackness trying to assess what was to be assumed, all cars need to valet for parking.
